The invention of video baby monitors changed the game for parents, giving them a new way to keep an eye on their babies 24/7, even in the middle of the night. But video baby monitors also come with a little bit of a creep factor. People have hacked into video monitors, parents have caught hilarious images of their kids looking like demons on the screen, and now one dad swears he captured a ghost while he was setting up his new monitor.
The footage was shared on YouTube and shows an unnamed dad testing out his new baby monitor while his wife plays with their baby.
The mom and baby are upstairs, and the dad is downstairs. Just as the dad gets the mom in focus on the monitor screen, a weird shape pops up behind her.
It looks like someone poking their head in the doorway, but it vanishes in seconds.
Even creepier is the fact that when the dad goes upstairs to check it out, there's no one there, and his wife has no idea what he's talking about.

But not everyone bought it. Lots of people in the comments on YouTube said the figure looked fake.
Still, others were creeped out enough to say the family should move out.
One person even said it looked like a demon.
It's hard to tell what this dad saw on his monitor, but let's hope it was just a camera trick. Otherwise they're going to have some long, spooky nights looking out for the "demon" on the baby monitor.
