If you celebrated the release of Frozen 2 this weekend, you certainly weren't alone. Aside from every other parent with a kid under 10, Saint Luke's South Hospital in Overland Park, Kansas, clearly was also pretty excited about returning to Arendelle. Staff posted the cutest photos of some of the hospital's newborns dressed in Frozen 2-themed attire.
Saint Luke's posted the photos of a teeny-tiny Elsa, Anna, and Olaf last week on Facebook, where people couldn't get enough.
In the November 21 Facebook post, the hospital explained that this was the first time they've ever dressed up newborns as characters from the iconic Disney movie.
"Anna, Elsa, and Olaf are here and they all like warm hugs," the hospital joked in the post caption, which has received hundreds of likes. "Remember, love is always an open door at Saint Luke's."
Hospital staff also posted a video of the sweet little babes getting tucked into their crocheted costumes. And luckily, it doesn't seem like they minded their new duds too much.
Hospital spokesperson Lauren Gifford explained that they wanted to do something unique for the newborns' parents.
"We wanted to do something really fun and memorable for our regular maternity families," Gifford told CNN. "The opening of Frozen 2, which so many people were so excited about, felt like a great opportunity to do something creative and unique."
Although this may have been the first 'Frozen'-themed day, Saint Luke's has been celebrating other holidays with fun newborn costumes for years.
Each year, the maternity ward comes alive at Christmas, Halloween, and even Valentine's Day, when the tiniest patients don adorable new wardrobes.
As for the babies who were dressed as Elsa, Anna, and Olaf, they are all now home and doing well, Gifford shared.
"Our moms were so thrilled and happy to participate," Gifford added. "And they absolutely loved the costumes."
The babies all got to keep their outfits, which we're sure was a sweet way to remember their very first photo shoot.
