Children have to be taught to regulate their emotions. Otherwise, they become grown adults who don’t have the tools to do so, and end up causing chaos and confusion for everyone around them. We all know that babies crying on airplanes is an unpleasant experience for all parties involved. No one knows it more than a parent trying their best to quiet an irritable child on the airplane.
Not only is your child uncomfortable and upset, so are the passengers who have to listen to the child in an already tight and crowded space. We should all give a bit of grace in these situations. But one passenger was out for blood and decided to make a bad situation even worse by ranting about a screaming baby on a flight.

A video of a man losing it over a crying baby has gone viral.
In a video that has gone viral across social media platforms, a man records his fellow passenger having a heated, expletive-laden discussion with a flight attendant.
The man yells saying, “We are in a f—ing tin can, with a baby in a g——– echo chamber and you want to talk to me about being OK?!” The flight attendant, trying to deescalate informs the man, “You’re yelling.”
Flight attendants tried to calm him down.
The man offers a ridiculous retort: “So is the baby!” It was the level of irrationality that made the whole thing hilarious and so shareable. The flight attendant reminds the passenger that he’s a grown man.
But he didn’t stop there, the belligerent man said, “Did that motherf—– pay extra to yell?” referring to the baby.
All of the passengers had to disembark from the plane because of his antics.
As a result of his anger, the man was asked to leave the plane. He refused, and all of the passengers had to get off. The man argued that he had a right to yell because there were two adults with the crying baby and they should have been able to soothe the child.
While it doesn’t appear that the man was handcuffed, the police did show up and he was escorted away by them.
While many laughed at this man's meltdown, others called him out for the truly childish behavior.
While many acknowledged that this man’s response contained a significant humorous element, there were others who spoke to this issue as parents.
“Getting this upset makes you an a–hole,” one Twitter user wrote. “And if you call my kid a 'motherf—–' the cops are gonna be talking to two people after the flight lands.”
Another person — who may or may not be a parent — summarized it like this: “Adults who lose their s— over babies crying on a plane will never not look goofy to me.”
“You think kids are crying to intentionally annoy people?" another user tweeted. "Lol. Your old a– throwing a tantrum like y’all the same age.”
Someone else quipped that this man’s outburst was a clear indicator for the need for adequate and accessible mental health services in the US. Because popping off like this over something as natural and common as a baby crying points to a much deeper issue.
