Baby Sees Her Mom’s Identical Twin for the First Time in a Long Time & Has the Sweetest Reaction

Twins Nungshi and Tashi Malik, who post on Instagram as @twinclimbers, are pretty incredible people. The pair use their platform to advocate for women in sports and to share their accomplishments. They hold multiple Guinness World Records and were the first female twins to scale Mount Everest together, among multiple other achievements. They also have an uncanny physical resemblance that Nungshi’s baby girl can’t get enough of. The twins caught a darling moment on video that very quickly went viral.

In the clip, Nungshi and Tashi meet at an airport in India with baby Amaya in tow. Her mother holds her as Aunt Tashi approaches. At first, the baby girl seems uncertain about how there are two moms looking at her, but she quickly shows off a gigantic grin. Amaya reaches for Tashi to give her aunt a little love. The sweet moment made so many people smile.

An Instagrammer noticed and wrote, “She doesn’t know what’s going on, but she likes it.” This person agreed and commented, “She’s thinking, wait, what? How did my mom become 2?”

“These kinds of videos never gets old lol. I remember my first was when a little girl met her father’s twin for the first time. Her eyes got so big and she kept looking back and forth at them both even when he handed her over to his brother. It was adorable,” one comment reads.

One twin shared a sweet story of his own. “My twin brothers first daughter acted just like this. Silent yet calculating everything about my voice and the way I acted to the point when my brother would be loud she would run to me and call for ‘Daddy No’ which was the name I got not Uncle Ray but Daddy,” he wrote.

“Even though we lived at different places she knew who was which easily. She could get the caring, soft voice, sweet touch or my brother who was pretty loud, active, and a bit rough. But loved us both,” he added. “Brother had 3 more kids and his daughter each taught them to only call me ‘Daddy No.'”
