When it comes to celebrity baby names, there have been more than a few we've questioned. For example, the name Elon Musk and Grimes chose for their son, X Æ A-12 (which the couple later ended up changing to X Æ A-Xii, for the record). But for as many unusual names that the stars have chosen, there have also been a lot of really awesome ones, too, and they're giving us inspiration for our own future babies. Somebody has to set the trends, right?
From the royal family to the Kardashian family and everyone in between, there are so many celeb babies out there rocking the cutest names. There's Stormi, Archie, and Silas, and they're just the beginning. Some of these famous parents have done an excellent job naming their kids, and we might as well borrow from them a little bit.
Here are all the most adorable celeb baby names for boys and girls. These little ones were born more famous (and probably more wealthy) than most of us will ever be, but maybe they'll be able to share their expertly chosen names with our kiddos.
DAISY
When Katy Perry became a first-time mom in 2020, she named her daughter Daisy Dove — a name that couldn't have gone more perfectly with dad Orlando Bloom's last name. Daisy is a classic (think back to The Great Gatsby), but it's still totally adorable today.
CREW
Crew is a name that's recently become super popular — possibly because it seems uncommon, and possibly because of the fact that Chip and Joanna Gaines used this name for their youngest son. It's short, cute, and will definitely stand the test of time.
LUNA
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend's firstborn, Luna Simone, has grown up to be a toddler who is the spitting image of her mama — and as cute as she is, she's also pretty funny. The name Luna means "moon," so it could be a good fit for parents who are into astronomy.
GIDEON
The name Gideon seems to be a bit popular with celeb parents! Not only did Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka choose this name for one of their twins, but Counting On star Joy-Anna Duggar also named her first baby Gideon, which means "hewer" in Hebrew.
KHAI
Here's a name chosen by one of the newest sets of celebrity parents on the block: Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik. Though they kept her name private for a while, a few months after their daughter's birth, they announced her name is Khai, which means "warrior strong."
LOUIS
When looking for the perfect celebrity baby name, we need to trust the royals first! For their third baby, Kate Middleton and Prince William went with the name Louis (full name Louis Arthur Charles), which is a classic.
BIRDIE
This nature-inspired name has been rising in popularity lately, and a couple of famous mamas might be to blame. Jessica Simpson named her third child Birdie when she was born in 2019, and Brie Bella's firstborn, Birdie Joe, was born in 2017.
CAMDEN
Though Camden could definitely be considered gender neutral, in Hollywood, it's been used for a few famous little guys. Former couple Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler named their son Camden, and so did Nick and Vanessa Lachey.
DREW
Olympian Shawn Johnson and husband Andrew East named their daughter Drew Hazel (who was born in 2019) as a way of naming her after her dad — so cute! Drew might sound like a nickname to some, but it makes a pretty adorable name for a baby girl.
CALLUM
After Jenna Dewan and Steve Kazee welcomed their first child together in 2020 (Jenna's second, after daughter Everly from her marriage to Channing Tatum), they named him Callum, which is Scottish and means "dove."
IVY
Here's a Duggar family baby name that's definitely worth considering! Jessa Duggar named her third child (and so far, her only daughter) Ivy Jane, which is super cute. Even Ivy just by itself is a solid name for a baby girl, but the middle name Jessa picked went perfectly with it.
MASON
There are a ton of names in the Kardashian family to choose from if anyone's looking for celeb inspiration, but one of our favorite names has been Mason — the name of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's oldest son.
STORMI
While we're on the subject of Kardashian baby names, let's consider Kylie Jenner's pick for her daughter. Stormi is definitely an uncommon name, but it fits Kylie's little one, and it might be a great pick for parents looking for something quirky.
JADEN
One of the most famous celebrity couples in the world — Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, of course — chose the name Jaden for their son, so it must be a good pick! It's also sweet to see the way they incorporated both of their own names in their kids' names, including daughter Willow.
JAMES
As the proud parents of three daughters, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds chose a bit of an unconventional name for their firstborn: James. Sure, it's traditionally a name used for boys, but it's super cute for a baby girl, too.
SILAS
These days, Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake are parents to two boys, but we really love the name they chose for their first: Silas. The name comes from Latin and means "woods, forest," which makes sense for JT, aka the "Man of the Woods."
ALESSI
The name that Bachelor couple Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham chose for their first daughter definitely isn't common, but it is beautiful. Alessi comes from Italian and means "defender of the people."
LIAM
These days, Lauren Conrad and husband William Tell are parents to two little boys, and we really love their son Liam's name. It's a classic, but it's become extremely popular over the last few years, but it's not so trendy it'll ever go out of style. Who doesn't love a timeless pick?
WYATT
Another name traditionally used for boys is now popular for girls — and we love it! Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis named their daughter Wyatt Isabelle when she was born in 2014, and we love both the combination of these names together and Wyatt for a baby girl all on its own.
ARCHIE
Sure, as far as royal names go, Louis is really good, but we also have to shout out his cousin, Archie Harrison. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry picked an adorable (and unusual) name for their little guy when he was born in 2019.
