Do one of the famously conjoined twins Abby and Brittany Hensel have a baby? That’s what some of their fans thought when TMZ reported in early August 2025 that they were seen out with a car seat with a newborn baby in it. But neither sister, nor Abby’s husband, Josh Bowling, announced a pregnancy or adoption on social media or otherwise.
But later, after the twins shared a TikTok post with a collage of those same photos and the caption “blessed,” followers took that to mean that either Abby or Brittany had a baby or adopted the photographed baby at some point.
Still, what do the photos mean? If fans had questions before about the dynamic of Abby and Josh’s relationship and how much or how little it involves Brittany, they are overflowing with questions now.

Although neither sister responded to the plethora of comments under the TikTok video, their post itself, along with the caption, seemed to be in response to the photos that surfaced of them carrying the car seat.
They still have not publicly shared if either of them is a mom or newly minted aunt. However, that’s what some believe to be the case, especially after they wrote “blessed” in the caption.
“Congratulations Abby & Brittany, you are amazing girls and have started another amazing adventure,” one user commented on the sisters’ TikTok video.
Another wrote, “They adopted, carrying a child would run some risks for them.”
Someone else speculated that Brittany used a surrogate to have a baby.
Again, neither Abby nor Brittany have confirmed or even further explained who the infant is that was seen in photos with them. The sisters are dicephalic parapagus twins, which means they have two separate upper body organs, but share a torso and pelvis. According to the National Library of Medicine, there is at least one recorded case of a conjoined twin giving birth.
For now, though, Brittany has not admitted to getting pregnant or even adopting with her husband.
Not long after Abby and Brittany were seen out with the baby for the first time, they were spotted, per The U.S. Sun, with the same baby at the school where they work.
Josh and Abby got married in 2021. Josh came into the marriage with a daughter from a previous relationship. So yes, technically Abby is already a step-mom to her husband’s daughter, and Brittany is a big part of the little girl’s life too.
But did Abby and Josh welcome a baby together at some point in 2025?
