If your reaction to your baby’s gender reveal is going to be anything less than ecstatic, regardless of the result, it probably isn’t a good idea to share a video of it on social media. Even so, a woman by the name of Madison Triolo shared her husband’s reaction in a TikTok video. Because of his over-the-top response to the result, some have commented that the video is grounds for divorce.
The official account for Madison is private. However, after she shared the gender reveal video before going private, other users stitched it or reposted it to share reactions to her husband’s reaction.
Under one such video on TikTok, most people are in agreement that Madison’s husband’s reaction to finding out his second child’s gender is just a bit much.
The dad admits he will be ‘upset’ if his wife is pregnant with another girl.
At the start of the TikTok, Madison’s husband says that if they find out Madison is pregnant with a girl, he will be upset. Without even unpacking the messiness of that statement, it’s something that could have been said in private rather than on a video that he likely knew Madison would post on social media.
Then, he seems to misunderstand her method of pressing a champagne flute into a small cake to see if the inside is blue or pink.
When he follows the directions, and both he and Madison look away, it seems like everything will go fine. Then, he looks down and immediately announces that he “can see the blue” before Madison has a chance to see the cake herself.
To her credit, she is excited along with her husband, but his jumps around the kitchen are a little much.

“Gender disappointment is valid but what isn’t valid is acting a certain way that will upset/ruin the moment for your partner,” someone commented.
“He intentionally made her unable to enjoy this moment so the attention was on him and the premature announcement was calculated too,” another person wrote.
Getting excited about the gender of your baby is totally valid. No one is faulting Madison’s husband for being happy about having a boy. However, his initial attitude at believing the result was going to be a girl and then his reaction to the gender reveal before Madison could react herself had plenty of people calling for Madison to move on and find her second husband already.
“I’m ready to file for divorce and I only spent 30 seconds with him,” one person joked in the comment section.
Another person pointed out what they see as the husband’s “red flags” by “spoiling” the result for Madison.
Others pointed out how the husband is a red flag, and someone else added, “Some people think this is better than being single.”
Unfortunately, Madison’s TikTok account is now private, so no one is able to leave comments on the original video on her page. She also has not shared any updates or responses to the reactions to her husband’s gender reveal reaction because her account is private.
Given his behavior, though, it’s probably a good thing that her TikTok is no longer public.
