Francesca has been documenting her journey to motherhood.

Those who are among her 6.3 million followers on Instagram already know that she’s been sharing her pregnancy journey, and now, her earliest days of motherhood. On November 15, Francesca revealed that her twins, a boy and a girl, had been born on November 11, as she posted a video that included clips of the first days of their lives.

Days later, she filled her followers in on their names.

She shared a photo of both babies wearing an ankle bracelet that revealed their unique names. For their daughter, Francesca and Jesse chose Poetry Lucia and for their son, Locket Romance.

“Our two little angels made a surprise appearance via emergency c section at 36 weeks and 5 days at 7:31 & 7:33AM on 11/11,” she wrote in her Instagram caption. “Locket weighed 5 pounds 10 ounces & Poetry weighed 5 pounds 8 ounces! I’ve never been more in love but I’ve also never had more anxiety. They’re perfect.”

People did not hold back when it came to their true feelings about the babies' names.

One commenter didn’t mince words, writing, “What dumb names. Happy that they’re healthy though,” along with a red heart emoji.

Others were worried about the children being bullied by their future classmates because of their names. “Locket and Poetry? Did you think of how they are going to be treated at school?” another commenter wrote.

Others defended her choice.

For some, the uniqueness of the names was a huge plus, along with the meanings of the words themselves.

“I love their names. They are so beautiful. They are unconventional unique names but so is your relationship/family,” one commenter wrote. “The way you all come together with love and acceptance and understanding, just simply Beautiful!!! A locket you keep close to your heart and keep special memories inside and poetry speaks beautiful words into existence. I love it!!!”

Jesse explained their name choices in a TikTok video.

The name Locket came from the gift Jesse gave Francesca their first Valentine’s Day together. “We fell in love with the name Locket. We said this really early on that if we ever have a kid, we want to name him or her Locket,” he said, adding that along with his middle name, Romance, he “just sounds like the coolest guy you’ve ever met.”

And as for Poetry? “We just thought that the feeling it gives you when you hear it and say it is so beautiful and she’s so beautiful, so it fits her,” he explained. “We like names that feel romantic in general. Lucia, her middle name, is Francesca’s mom’s name. It’s an old Italian name.”
