20 Adorable Kids’ Outfits Perfect for ‘Pride’

Pride Month is here! And while we think we should celebrate the LGBTQ community in a big way year-round, it's a fun time to really break out the swag and cool Pride T-shirts. Kids should be able to join in, too, and have outfits like their parents that reflect their own feelings and support for the community, their heroes, themselves, their peers, or their own parents and families.

There are lots of events in different states and cities to show off these cute outfits, but they're also just great to wear on a regular day, and spread the message of Pride, support, allyship and, of course, lots of love. Check out some of the outfits below that range from cute T-shirts to dresses to sets. There are even onesies for babies, because who doesn't want them to be decked out? 'Tis the season!

At Wild Sky Media, we recognize that not all pregnancies and parenting journeys look the same. That’s why across all our sites — CafeMom, LittleThings, Mom.com, and MamásLatinas — we are committed to using inclusive language as much as possible, recognizing that all forms of parenting are valid and celebrating the shared experiences and unique differences among moms, dads, nonbinary and noncisgender parents, and all forms of caregivers.

"Love for all" is a short statement but it's a powerful and simple one that gets to the heart of the Pride movement and what it's all about. What we love about this children's tee is that the phrase is simple for kids to understand but is clearly about loving one another. Plus, it features rainbow hearts and an on-trend tie-dye pattern.

Having two moms is slowly losing its stigma (yay) as society becomes more accepting, on an emotional and legal level, of same-sex parents. Toddlers and kids who do have two moms can tell the world by wearing this blue "I love my moms" rainbow heart tee loud and proud at Pride events or beyond. We love it, too.

Trans Rights Are Human Rights T-Shirt

Look Human

Trans people are among the most ostracized group within an already oppressed community. Wearing a T-shirt that affirms their personhood and rights is a great way to show support, whether the person wearing it is in the trans community or not. That's why we love this tee that says "Trans rights are human rights" in the trans flag colors.

Rebubble

Love wins is a throwback phrase that bubbled up when the US Supreme Court ruled that same-sex couples had the right to get married legally in the US. It's been a call for the LGBTQ community ever since and makes a great T-shirt phrase, too. We love it on this long-sleeved baby onesie. It also has an adorable rainbow as well.

If toddler has a gay uncle that they love, then this is the tee they should wear. It is a clear statement of love and support for their "guncle" (gay + uncle = guncle, get it?) as long as said uncle is cool with the niece or nephew showing it off on their behalf. We love that the word "guncle" is in rainbow colors, too.

Speaking of rainbow colors, this rainbow Pride power fist is a great example of Pride and LGBTQ support being more intersectional. It's not just about Pride but also the obstacles members of the community face who may be Black or of color. The fist features a collage of important words to the community, as well. It's a great tee for older kids to rock this month.

For parents or gift-givers with a little sense of humor, we seriously love this blue onesie that's perfect for a baby born to a lesbian couple. It reads "Hatched By 2 Chicks" because, well, that's the truth. It's corny and sweet like most baby onesies so this one will fit right in but with a Pride twist. And that's why we love it.

Pride is the name of the monthlong celebration of the LGBTQ community for a reason. It's a time to be proud of our identities, whether that's ourselves or as an ally or a family member. That's the idea behind this gray baby onesie that says "Proud of My Family" with a rainbow where the "o" should be.

Love that Love onesie but don't have a baby to wear it? Totally OK! We have good news: A similar style comes in a child and toddler-sized tee from Etsy. Like the onesie, it says "Love" over and over and each "Love" has its own color of the Pride rainbow flag. It can be paired with shorts or a cute hat as shown in there photo.
