Mom BFFs Go RVing With Their Kids To Visit Roadside Attractions

Last year, moms Keri and Ashley needed a relaxing weekend getaway, so they took a trip to Ashley’s parents’ RV for a weekend of rest, fun, and nature. They had such a great time in the RV that they decided to expand their entourage for their RV trip this year — that’s right, they’re bringing the kids! And while last year’s getaway was stationary (the RV served as their home base for a weekend of hiking, crafting, and glamping), this year they’re taking the show on the road. Ashley, Keri, and their kids will be rolling out, visiting a variety of roadside attractions, like Lucy the Elephant in Margate City, NJ, Miles the Monster in Dover, DE, and Futuro: UFO-Shaped House in Milton, DE.

The trip is shaping up to be absolutely incredible; not only will they be stopping to see fascinating roadside attractions, they’ll be staying at some really great RV parks. The one they’re looking forward to the most? Thousand Trails Lake & Shore, which has a pool with waterslides, a mini golf course, volleyball courts, and other fun activities.

Although Keri and Ashley did a quick RV trip last year, they definitely wouldn’t consider themselves RV experts. When it came to figuring out what they needed in an RV, Keri and Ashley turned to GoRVing.com. They knew they’d need an RV that could sleep four, accommodate a dog, provide comforts like air conditioning and a full bathroom, and still fit in a normal parking spot.
