So many little girls dream of being princesses, especially those of the Disney variety. They long for their adventures, beautiful hair and clothes, a handsome Prince Charming, and, of course, a gorgeous singing voice. For some, it's not that far of a reach.
TikTok mom Nicki Marie captured her daughter’s teenage babysitter, Delaney, singing “Part of Your World” from The Little Mermaid, and if you didn’t know better, you would think Ariel herself had escaped the sea and was sitting in the family’s living room. The babysitter’s voice is nothing short of angelic, and the video must be seen to be believed.
The mom secretly recorded the babysitter.
Nicki Marie, who is known for her funny parenting and motherhood videos on TikTok, was sly about getting Delaney’s voice on camera. She hid in the hall while the sitter mindlessly belted out the classic tune.

There is no denying that this young woman has pipes as she continues to sing, knowing nothing of the recording.
Delaney is a bit self-conscious.
As the song continues, the video says, “But she gets discouraged about they way she looks in her videos” with a crying emoji.
Delaney has nothing to worry about. She is beautiful inside and out, and her voice is out of this world.
Nicki Marie agrees, captioning the video, “All I see is beauty. So do my kids.”
She encourages viewers to “Show her some love, so I can get her to sing for us more.”
The mom gets emotional.
It's hard not to get the feels listening to Delaney sing. Her voice honestly sounds like something out of the movies, and we can only imagine what it must feel like to have someone sing like that to your kids. When you have a good babysitter, it is the best.
Having one with a magical voice takes things to a whole other level. The video ends with Nicki Marie’s face on camera, clearly filled with emotion.

Delaney made fans instantly.
The video went viral and has more than 16 million views and three million likes. People in the comment section are crazy for Delaney, and after watching a few more of her videos, we totally get why.

People need more Delaney in their lives.

The TikTok took Delaney all the way to 'American Idol.'
After her viral TikTok success, Delaney made her way to American Idol, even earning a ticket to Hollywood. She was eliminated after the first week, but that didn’t discourage her.
“No hard feelings, just beyond grateful for the experience. This is the song I sang before my elimination, hope you enjoy,” she commented on TikTok.
Delaney continues to keep her Instagram and TikTok accounts active and performs music for her followers regularly, calling herself the singing babysitter.
