As someone whose entire birth plan got thrown in the garbage, I know that babies enter the world the way they want to, and usually when they want to. But every once in a while, the little ones give us a wink and their plans happen to align with ours — and sometimes, that's in the most unimaginable way.
That’s what happened to one Ohio couple whose twins' birthday will always be extra, extra special. That's because they share it with both of their parents. August 18, is now an extremely important day for this adorable family of four.

Scierra Blair was supposed to give birth at the end of the month.
“August 18, we all got the same birthday,” Jose Ervin Jr. told WCTV. And by all, he means himself, his fiancée Scierra Blair, and now their two children. Scierra was set to give birth at the end of August. But last on August 17, Jose got a call saying that there had been a change of plans. Scierra was in labor.

Jose suggested delaying the C-section until after midnight.
When Scierra got to the hospital, doctors told the couple that one of the babies was breech and advised a C-section, Fox 6 reported. The doctors planned to deliver the twins that same day, on August 17. But Jose came up with another idea. “Let’s just wait until midnight,” he said. Initially, Scierra wasn’t too thrilled about the idea of waiting. "She really didn't want it [at first]," Jose explained. But she eventually changed her mind.
Jose said the twins' birth was a great birthday gift.
The couple’s fraternal twins, Jose Ervin III and his sister A-ria, were born a minute apart from one another at 12:35 a.m. and 12:36 a.m. at Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital. The twins both weighed over 5 pounds. The babies are both healthy and doing well, according to their father. Jose said the birth of his babies was a great birthday gift.
Jose said birthdays are going to be bangers from here on out.
"It's a dream come true, honestly," Jose told Fox Television Stations. "It was very unique, and it's a blessing honestly. I didn't know what I was going to be doing for my birthday. I just said I wanted a good gift, and God sent me my kids on my birthday." Jose said birthdays for the family are going to be epic. “[Birthdays] are going to be a banger from here on out. It's going to be nothing but love and fun from here on out," he told Fox 6.
