This Toddler’s Birthday Party Descended Into Absolute Chaos & We Can’t Stop Laughing

While childhood goes by so quickly, the memories are strong and often stick with us for the rest of our lives. So as the adults tasked with doing right by our own children, we want to make moments big and small count. While the first choice would be for happy memories, sometimes all we have is something ridiculous. It can even happen with a perfectly planned kid's birthday party.

That was the case for Reece, a toddler whose birthday descended into chaos once her special birthday cake was revealed. And when we say chaos, we mean absolute mayhem. It wasn’t a tantrum on her part, but rather the adults who lost it. It was hilarious. And lucky for us, it was all caught on camera.

This little girl was supposed to have a 'pull me up' doll cake.

Eva and Kenzie, who host the podcast It’s OK Sweetheart, first shared the video on Reddit’s contagious laughter section, where it went viral. Afterward they uploaded it to TikTok where it gained another 28 million views.

The video begins with Eva trying to reveal Reece’s “pull me up” doll cake. It’s a trend that decorates the bottom of the cake as you release the frosting and oftentimes glitter from a cup held at the top.

Things didn't go according to plan.

But Reece’s cake didn’t exactly work out. It seemed like the hole in the cup wasn’t big enough. And instead of falling evenly, the frosting and glitter fell in clumps and the doll toppled over. That would have been bad enough, but Eva was so tickled by the situation she laughed until she literally peed her pants.

Eva left a puddle of urine on the floor.

Still unable to compose herself, Eva walks away from the cake, leaving a puddle of urine on the floor. If there was any confusion about what was going on with her, the wet spot on her jeans told the full story. The family erupts in laughter as Reece is still trying to figure out what the hell happened to her doll cake.

Then grandma stepped in it.

Grandma — still trying to make Reece’s birthday special — hovers around the little girl, but accidentally steps in Eva’s urine. “Oh Eva!” she exclaims before playfully kicking her. Grandma announces to no one in particular that she needs some new socks. Little Reece, not wanting to be blamed for Eva’s incontinence tells everyone, “I didn’t do that.”

Reece might not get it now, but we know eventually she'll love this video as much as we do.

The grandmother takes a paper towel roll and instructs Eva, who is still bent over laughing in wet jeans, to wipe up her urine. Reece is still troubled by the cake and asks, "What happened to this?" Grandma is still trying to salvage the moment and asks the family, “Can we sing?!”

At this point, we don’t know how much it would help. Reece might not be able to appreciate the humor of all of this now, but this video is classic. We’re sure she’ll cherish it and the crazy adults in her life forever.
