TikTok Dad Goes Viral for Dressing for the ‘Best Job in the World’ & It’s Totally Epic

Have you ever heard the phrase "dress for the job you want?" Sure you have. We've all seen the memes of women dressed up like Disney princesses or maybe putting on a crown like a queen, indicating a belief in this long-standing sentiment. Those are dreams that may or may not come true and that's just fine, but ladies, men have goals, too.

And some of them get to live that dream every day as dads. One TikToker from Michigan epitomizes what it means to be a "dad," and it's pretty spot on, stereotypes and all.

This dad has got it going on.

@josh.dad.gillett You get pooped on, peed on, thrown up on, no sleep, no breaks, not even paid for it and it’s still THE BEST JOB IN THE WORLD! #parenting #dadlife #girldad #parenting101 #stuntinlikemydaddy ♬ Stuntin' Like My Daddy - Street - Birdman & Lil Wayne

TikTok dad @josh.dad.gillett has more than 145,000 followers on the video sharing platform, and we can see why. He is downright hilarious. His parenting videos have amassed 3.2 million likes, and there is one in particular that we love. The video is captioned "You get pooped on, peed on, thrown up on, no sleep, no breaks, not even paid for it and it’s still THE BEST JOB IN THE WORLD!"

It opens with text telling us to "Dress for the job you want." Josh models that fashion and is living the dad dream every day. Dad — or mom — we can all relate.

He's proudly wearing the dad duds.

The video shows Josh at the hospital, presumably picking up a newborn to head home. As the song "Stuntin' Like My Daddy" plays in the background, Josh is proudly sporting a yellow polo shirt and khaki shorts. The video pans to him tying a pair of white, sensible sneakers with his white socks pulled up to mid-calf. And we can't forget his cellphone. He has that securely strapped around his waist in a holster.

As he walks out of the hospital carrying an infant car seat, he points up to the sky, and the video closes with text that reads, "And when you get that job … never look back."

People think he's funny and can relate.

Some moms could feel this in their souls.

"YES to the Monarchs," someone commented, referring to his sneakers. "That was the first purchase my husband made when he found out he was gonna be a dad."

Others kept it simple. " spot on," someone laughed.

Another person just wrote, "best," and we totally agree.

He is full of funny antics.

In addition to a baby, Josh has a toddler at home that he often parodies. These videos are just as funny. In one TikTok, he asks his toddler — a character he is also playing — to please not make a mess because they have just cleaned up.

We soon hear Taylor Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do," and watch Josh, dressed as a toddler, destroying the room. He throws toys and dumps crackers. And the blocks. Oh, the blocks. He's just like every toddler we have ever known.

The comments on this video are equally funny.

Toddlers are all the same.

"When my husband gets home and ask me how my day was, I'm going to show him this video," one mom commented.

"This is so on point I don't know whether to laugh or cry," a person agreed.

Who hasn't seen this move? "Omg so so accurate," another comment reads. "My favorite is the direct stare at you while making a huge mess."

We need this kind of humor in our lives.

As parents, life gets tough sometimes. Videos like Josh's help us realize that we're not alone. Every parent goes through ups and downs, and sometimes, the best we can do is just laugh.

Now that it's almost Christmas check out his take on putting up the tree. All we can say is, this is #facts!
