We’re suckers for a cute kid at Christmastime. Whether it’s matching pajamas, getting a big surprise gift, or just singing a sweet holiday song, we are all in. Give us big kids, small kids, and adult kids – we don’t discriminate. But we must admit, there is something extra special about the tiniest children experiencing the holidays for the first time. Victoria Paskar agrees and shared the most adorable TikTok of her toddler discovering Christmas joy.
Paskar, who posts on the app as @vita.paskar, shared a video of her son, Ellis, taking a stroll in a cart through the Christmas decorations at Target. Of course, the little guy can’t believe his eyes, and millions of people love his sweet reaction.

This is Ellis' first big Christmas.
Paskar gave birth to Ellis a few months before Christmas last year, so this was the first time he’d really seen Target filled with holiday cheer. His mom told Good Morning America she loved how excited he got.
“He’s never seen any Christmas decor since being a newborn, which of course, he didn’t understand at the time. And that was his sweet reaction to seeing all of those lit up Christmas trees!” the mom explained.
Ellis couldn't believe his eyes.
As his parents pushed him through Target, Ellis kept saying, “Oh wow!” His eyes widened as he took in all the holiday sights. Paskar shared text on the video that reads, “POV: your child’s second Christmas isn’t him as a newborn anymore but as a toddler.”
Ellis clearly enjoyed shopping for holiday décor, and TikTokers fell in love with him.
Millions watched Ellis' happy reaction.
Paskar’s video has 2.4 million views, with people smitten with sweet Ellis. One parent is in a similar phase with their child, and wrote, “My fav toddler faze is the ‘wow’ faze. They say wow at everything!!!”
Many agreed that Christmas is a lot more for a parent than a child, with one person commenting, “Experiencing Christmas through your children’s eyes is the BEST gift a parent can get!”

It's not just Ellis. Plenty of others share his joy.
Lots of adults commented on Paskar’s video with their own holiday excitement. Like this person who wrote, “That’s what I say to and I’m 32 lol.” And this one: “Stop it, he’s so cute! I feel the same way about Christmas.”
“My fiancée says the same thing. She’s 22,” someone else joked.
Then, Target chimed in from its official TikTok account, commenting, “now this is happier holidays.” Paskar let Target know she and Ellis are frequent shoppers. “We’ve only been in your stores like twice a day ever since!” she replied.
Merry Christmas, Ellis. You’ve definitely put us in the holiday spirit.
