Viral Video Shows Savage Babies Looking Their Mamas Right in the Eye & Calling Them ‘Dada’

We moms do it all, right? Not only do we grow the babies in our bodies, but we also feed them from our bodies. We get up in the middle of the night to care for them. We change their diapers and give them baths. We do their laundry and make sure they are warm and cozy. And what do we want in return? Not a whole lot. Well, maybe there is one thing.

Would it be too much for these babies just to say our names? We've even got Ms. Rachel on our side teaching the kids sweet little songs to help them say "Mama," but still, they look us dead in the eye and say "Dada."

A TikToker put together a hilarious compilation of moms singing, and it is so frustrating and darling all at the same time.

These babies are all over the place.

Ms. Rachel is pretty darn clever, right? She teaches babies and toddlers all kinds of things, and littles eat her up. She is a mom, so she knows how important the mother/baby bond is.

She even created a cute little ditty to teach babies to say "Mama." In a TikTok posted by @rock_sweetie510, many moms tried to sing Ms. Rachel's "Mama" song, but their kids didn't say "Mama." Instead, they all responded with "Dada."

The moms really didn't seem that surprised.

Again, moms are often the default parents for all baby things, so the irony here isn't a surprise to any of them. As a matter of fact, they all just kind of laugh it off. The babies are all so darn cute; who can really blame them?

These babies are stone cold.

The video has 12.6 million views and nearly 14,000 comments. Some TikTokers called out the babies.

One mom wrote, "The disrespect! my 9month old says Dada but calls me by my middle name. "

"they fact that they sing it back with Dada….the audacity ‍ ‍ ‍, " another comment reads.

Someone else joked, "Babies are not nice people ."

It isn't just saying, 'Dada,' it's how they sing.

The fact that these babies are so happy to sing along like they aren't emotionally destroying their mothers is harsh.

"Not only they hit you with Dada but they wreck your soul by audaciously singing it back at you ," someone pointed out.

"Nothing hurts like them singing daaada. They clearly know what they are doing," someone else shared.

"The tune goes well with Dada ," one comment reads.

And that last baby might be the most savage of them all.

Someone laughed, "The last baby even cut her off like nope."

There were lots of thoughts about why the babies refused to say 'Mama.'

Some people thought it was due to physical development.

"If I recall its a muscle issue not able to make an M but the doesn't mean I didnt enjoy every second my babies did it ‍," someone wrote.

Another person agreed: "phonetically, the d is easier to pronounce and that's why the produce those words first. m is a bilabial glottoral sound, it's harder."

And we don't know if what this other person suggested is true, but we loved it.

"To all the mom's out there going through this, some research explains babies' 1st word being dada because they see their mom and themselves as one❤️," the person commented.

Mamas, keep your head up. Those babies will be saying your name before you know it. And if we're being honest, you might wish they'd start yelling for dad again. We kid … maybe.
