Woman Posts TikTok Feeding Her Reborn Dolls Formula Amid Shortage & People Are Furious

You may have noticed that store shelves have been looking kind of empty lately. Many products are short-stocked because of several factors, which has led to lots of frustration for consumers. Although it may be inconvenient for some not to have their favorite mustard or jam, there are real concerns for parents who use formula to feed their babies.

The world has been experiencing a formula shortage for months, and parents have gone to great lengths to ensure they can feed their babies. While parents have searched high and low, one woman on TikTok is sharing her routine of feeding her reborn dolls using real formula, and people are losing their minds.

Reborn dolls are common.

Many people care for reborn dolls. Sometimes they are purchased by adults who cannot have children or who have suffered a miscarriage. Other times they are used in nursing homes for patients with dementia or Alzheimer’s. And then there are the children who love to play with them because they look so realistic. It can be like having their own baby.

All of these things are fine and perfectly normal for many people. What is not OK with them is people using real baby formula to pretend to feed a doll when parents cannot find formula for their living, breathing babies.

One mom spends ungodly amounts of money on her 'babies.'

A woman who calls herself @mummyof2reborns maintains a TikTok account where she posts videos of herself taking care of her two dolls, Summer Grace and Reggie-Lee. The mom posts video after video of her “hauls,” spending unbelievable amounts of money on dolls that she considers her children. It upsets people to see her buy pacifiers and bibs, but it absolutely infuriates them to see the cans of formula she buys them.

“please please NOT kendamil! Most supermarkets do not stock it so it’s ridiculously hard to get hold of!! I’m sure your plastic toys won’t go hungry,” a person pleaded in the comments section.

“Kendamil is like gold dust atm, it’s the only milk my baby can have. Honestly this is infuriating,” another mom begged.

People have become unhinged over the bottle prep videos.

The videos where she discusses feeding her dolls and bagging her “breast milk” have people furious. The mom is seen in several videos labeling breast milk bags and pouring her “milk” into them. The milk is formula, real actual baby formula that could feed an actual human. Instead, she wastes the precious potion, and so many people can’t get over it.

“bad enough u use normal formula but bags there are such shortages rn, it’s so unfair use a sandwich bag or summit if u want to do this,” someone commented.

“Meanwhile I work a 40+ week to feed my real children and can’t do shopping hauls because my gas and electric costs so much! SMH,” another person wrote.

“Omg that’s a waste ‍♀️” another comment reads.

Her fake breast milk is causing moms a lot of mental anguish.

This mom doesn’t seem to realize that pretending to produce this much breast milk is also affecting the mental health of moms who can’t produce milk.

“its so hurtful watching all this knowing when I had my baby 10weeks prematurely I couldn’t even produce an ounce of milk for him and he was real!!!!!” someone commented.

“It is hurtful to women who tried despartely to produce breastmilk, but weren’t successful,” another person wrote.

“I’m so triggered by this because I exclusively pumped for 7 months with my first and it was the most mentally draining thing i had to do,” one comment read.

“this actually makes me so sad. I would have given anything to produce like this when my eldest was born and I feel she’s making a mockery of it,” another mom shared.

No judgment, but maybe this person should have some compassion.

No one is here to tell anyone how to live their life, but people want this mom to consider the needs of living babies and their parents. There are formula shortages, and real babies need that formula to stay alive. Hard stop.

Commenters think she should stick to dressing the babies and changing their imaginary dirty diapers and stay away from posting the feeding videos.
