Romantic Getaway
Book a romantic getaway for just you and your partner to enjoy your relationship pre-baby, advises Pam Guyer, a lifestyle expert who specializes in teaching and coaching women and mothers. "Ignite the flame in your relationship so it burns long enough to carry you through the transition of family living and a newborn."
Read That Book
If you've got a book (or even book series) you've been meaning to read, buy it now and dive in. You'll find that post-birth, you either won't have enough time or you'll be too tired to enjoy reading in the same way.
Low-Key Dinner Party
"If you're more low-key, pregnancy is a great time for inviting friends over for dinner," says Kellaghan. Invite your favorite people over and enjoy some delicious food together. "Better yet, order in from a favorite restaurant," she says.
Day or Night on the Town
Spend a night doing something you love with the people you love. For example, buy tickets to your favorite sporting event, comedy show, movie theater or the symphony. Alternatively, spend the day shopping, lunching or checking out a museum.
Solo R&R
Hanging out with friends and family is a great way to spend your remaining time before the baby's delivered, but you should also invest some time in yourself. Ask for some quiet solo time at home and watch your favorite movies, listen to your favorite music and indulge in your favorite foods.
