"If I didn't do it now, and something happens to him, I'd never forgive myself for not making the most of the time we had," mom Melodie Williams, 41, said.

"I had a meeting with the cardiologist and he said Mason's blood pressure was too high for him to have an operation to extend his life," said Williams, who reached out to companies in her neighborhood to help her son fulfill a wish.

"I just had to do something now in case he's not alive next time it snows," Williams told The Daily Mail.

As far as what the future holds, Williams says they can only give it time. "Right now we're waiting until his pressures go down or the half of his heart that works gives out," said Williams.
