Plus-size women are *constantly* forced to defend their place in the sports and fitness world. Luckily, it seems like everyone is catching on to the truth (slowly but surely!): Bigger bodies can successfully compete and work out much in the same way that smaller or straight-sized bodies can.
If you need any proof, look no further than #ThickGirlsWhoTumble, which was trending on Twitter this week to highlight the skills of gymnasts of all sizes.
Women have taken to Twitter to share videos of themselves sticking it on the gymnastics floor.
They started the hashtag #ThickGirlsWhoTumble to prove gymnasts come in all shapes and sizes.
For these athletes, size means nothing.
In fact, their bodies seem to help their performance.
The movement is making curvy women feel more included in the sport.
This is especially important because we usually only see smaller bodies doing such intense activities.
Gymnastics, like most things, isn't about size. It's about talent and determination.
Twitter is fully in support of the body-positive hashtag.

It's even inspiring future athletes and gymnasts to own their bodies no matter what, which is the best possible outcome for a social media movement.
