Kanye West Hates Kim Kardashian’s Makeup So Much He Tried To Relocate Her Artist

Kim Kardashian has had a major style revolution over the past few years thanks to her husband, Kanye West, and I'm sure some people think it's for the better. But his influence doesn't start and end with her clothing choices.

Kanye also doesn't like how Kardashian does her makeup. He's been so chuffed with her makeup artist's skills that he was prepared to pay the artist to move from New York to LA for around-the-clock availability. West clearly likes to have control over his wife's appearance as well as their kids'.

Kanye West doesn't like the way Kim Kardashian does her makeup.

Kardashian was at makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic's The Master Class this weekend and let everyone know how her husband feels about her makeup. Apparently, he hates it so much he was willing to pay someone to uproot their life.

West offered to pay Dedivanovic to move across the country from New York City to LA just to be available to do his wife's makeup at a moment's notice.

Kardashian said her husband hated her makeup so much he was willing to personally pay Dedivanovic to move across the country just so he could be available to do her makeup at all times. Imagine being so good at your craft that someone is willing to pay you to move thousands of miles just so you're with them all the time.

Dedivanovic has been Kardashian's go-to makeup artist for years, and he has one of the most impressive résumés in the industry.

Dedivanovic made a name with the Kardashians, but they aren't his only high-profile clients. He's been in the industry for 18 years and has worked with celebrities such as Bebe Rexha, Demi Lovato, and Gabrielle Union, among a slew of others.

Though West couldn't get the makeup artist to change coasts, that hasn't stopped him from critiquing Kardashian's makeup choices.

At The Master Class, Kardashian said West looks over her makeup to approve it before she leaves the house. She even gave examples of him saying that she is wearing too much blush or that she contoured her lips incorrectly.

West will even call Dedivanovic for "makeup emergencies."

This has got to be the ultimate first-world problem, but West has called Dedivanovic and asked him to fly out just so that he can be there to fix Kardashian's makeup. She even said that West has called Dedivanovic without telling her.

“He will call Mario without telling me! And Mario shows up without me knowing and he is like, ‘Oh Kanye called me and said it was a makeup emergency.'”

The KKW Beauty mogul doesn't seem to mind the input. She even asks for West's advice before she walks a red carpet.

The couple will go back and forth about different clothing options before she goes to big events. Even if she likes something she's picked, he will suggest something completely different for her.

But West has always liked having control of his wife's appearance. He went as far as to overhaul her closet on an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

On a 2012 episode of the reality show, West brought over a stylist of his own to raid Kim's closet. The three of them went through her closet while Kim asked for their opinions on her clothes.

Back then, Kardashian said she was "excited to collaborate with him to see what his take on fashion is." But that doesn't mean she wasn't upset; she admitted that she cried about it later on.

We know now that West wasn't attracted to Kardashian for her style. She once said that West told her she has "the worst style."

That sounds mean, but she said he was "really nice about it. “I probably had 250 pairs of shoes, and when we were done cleaning it out, I had two pairs left and I cried,” she said.

He's the one who encouraged her to have a more simplistic approach to fashion.

If anyone remembers how Kardashian used to dress before marrying West, you know what a big difference their relationship has made to her wardrobe. She wore a lot of bigger accessories and darker makeup in the 2010s.

She also started going blonde because she knows he likes it.

West reportedly prefers women with blonde hair, and that's why Kardashian has been sporting the hair color more often. She even went blonde for their fourth wedding anniversary.

Regardless, Kardashian claims she likes West's input and that he inspires her.

She told People that “I really do get all of my inspiration from my husband,” and that he makes her life "so easy."

She even listens to the advice of his Yeezy team, who puts his wardrobe together.

These style rules reportedly also apply to the couple's children.

A source close to the couple told Life & Style magazine that their daughter North is allowed to wear only neutral colors. Talk about missing out on a key component of childhood.

These fashion rules even apply when Kardashian and West are spending time in different cities.

Due to their hectic famous-people schedules, they can't be with each other 24/7, but that doesn't mean that Kardashian doesn't refer to her man for style advice when they're apart. She reportedly sends pictures of her outfits every day for his approval.

Kardashian even once said that West sends her fashion advice via email when they aren't together. What is she allowed to wear without her man's permission?

He sent her an email once about how she shouldn't wear big sunglasses—she should wear little ones instead. Then he sent her examples of what he was talking about. Controlling, much?
