The people have spoken, and it appears, at least this time, Netflix is listening. The streaming giant is reportedly poised to pull Nick and Vanessa Lachey away from their Love is Blind hosting duties after intense fan backlash to their performance on the reunion special. It seems their replacements may already be waiting in the wings, too.

An insider spilled the beans to the Daily Mail.
Rumors are flying that Nick and Vanessa's cringeworthy performance during the live taping of the reunion show may have been the final nail in the couple's coffin.
"There's always been whispers about replacing them, especially now after the live reunion special which was a complete disaster on so many levels," a series insider revealed.
Netflix may be worried about what Nick and Vanessa's lackluster performances will do to the project.
The insider went on to say that Netflix has a lot to lose if it doesn't do something drastic — and fast!
"If they want to keep their ratings up, there's got to be a change," the source continued, adding that there's already a new couple being floated behind closed doors: Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton.
The pair already have name recognition among fans.
"Viewers feel a connection with Lauren and Cameron because they are the real deal," the source continued. "They are down-to-earth, kind people who can actually help the contestants because they have walked in their shoes."
The insider added that people really want to be able to relate to the hosts and "at this point they can't relate to Vanessa or Nick."
Fans blasted the pair's performance on the reunion special and demanded their removal.
Viewers didn't hold back when they called Vanessa "baby crazy" and "cringe" as she attempted to connect with this season's contestants during a live special.
She set the tone for the show when she began by quizzing contestants about their plans to have a baby, and things went way downhill from there.

Fans even started a petition to oust the hosts.
Whether Netflix decides to shake things up and remove the couple remains to be seen, but one thing is obvious: Fans have had enough of the pair.
We can't help but wonder what Love is Blind would look like without the hosts who have been the face of the project since it began back in 2020. Maybe a bit of fresh blood is exactly what is needed to revive the series and give it the ratings boost Netflix needs to keep it running.
