Jessa Duggar Gets Fiery When Hitting Back at Trolls Who Criticize Her Parenting Choices

Jessa Duggar is no stranger to people weighing in on her parenting choices — after all, the 19 Kids and Counting alum has been in the spotlight since before she became a mother. But lately, it seems she's been getting a bit tired of it all. At least, that's what it seems like after Jessa clapped back at the haters who are challenging her after her new Instagram post.

It all started when Jessa shared how she avoids a common issue in her house.

On Instagram, she shared a video of how she installed a piece of hardware on her door that automatically closes it after it has been opened, which means that she no longer has to ask her four children to close the door — and it's easier for her to keep flies out of the house, which come with the warmer weather.

"No more 'please shut the door!'" Jessa wrote.

Many people thought Jessa was doing too much.

Some people thought that Jessa's solution was a bit more complicated than others available on the market, while others found fault in Jessa's parenting for this one.

"Or just teach your kids to shut the door?" one person wrote.

Jessa responded to her critic.

While teaching her kids to close the door would be an option, Jessa is willing to take the high road on this one.

"Of course we do. But this, of all things, is not my hill to die on," she responded to the commenter.

Well then!

This isn't the first time Jessa has taken the opportunity to clap back.

Of all the Duggar sisters with their own Instagram accounts, Jessa might be the one most likely to fire back when someone tries to question something she's done or said, especially if it's come to her kids. She's even been known to defend her sisters if necessary!

She's clearly found a solution that works for her.

As anyone with small children knows, teaching them to do anything — including something as simple as closing a door — can be a long process. And in the meantime, we can't blame her for wanting to keep the flies out of the house!

They'll learn, and Jessa seems to be happy with her new gadget.
