Infants like to let loose and get wild sometimes too! A baby recently went viral for crowd surfing at a Flo Rida concert. Yes, that is a real sentence. There is actual video footage of a baby being crowd surfed mid-concert, though at this point, no one knows who the baby is or why the little one was at the show. Regardless, the baby absolutely ended up on stage with the rapper during a recent performance at CelebrateErie festival in Pennsylvania, and the video footage is pretty wild to watch.
Then again, concertgoers are constantly throwing items on stage these days, so why not add a baby to the list?

Technically, Flo Rida started it.
In the clip, Flo Rida is seen in the middle of a crowd performing his hit song "Low." He notices the baby, who is offscreen, and beckons for the adult to pass the baby to him. The infant is passed over several heads and pairs of hands before making it up to the stage.
The baby in question looks to be no more than maybe 8 or 9 months old and isn't even wearing shoes.
It may look fun, but this could have ended really badly.

Aside from the fact that someone could have dropped the baby on the way to the stage, concerts like this aren't typically the safest place in the world for a baby to be. Between the loud volume and the unpredictable crowd, it's definitely a risk … and that isn't even taking the crowd-surfing activity into account!
At one point, the baby was held up like Simba from 'The Lion King.'

In the video, Flo Rida happily takes the baby in his arms, dancing around with the infant and even giving a kiss on the cheek. At no point does he stop performing, including putting the mic up to the baby’s mouth. The baby naturally looks confused as to what is happening but doesn’t cry.
Later in the clip, Flo Rida is back on the proper stage, and so is the baby, presumably with the adult who brought the little one to the concert. During their time on stage, the grown-up holds the baby up to the crowd The Lion King style as the rapper hypes them up.
Naturally, the video has been getting all kinds of reactions from people.
Some of those people found humor in the whole situation.
"Who the heck brought their baby to a Flo Rida concert And how do they know the baby is a Flo Rida fan, this is unfair," one person wrote, and another added, "Why did he bring up the microphone to the baby like it was gonna start singing the song?"
“The amount of anxiety I have for a child that’s not mine. Like did Flo Rida just wait by lost and found to get the baby back home?" another person wrote.

Others expressed very real concern for the baby’s safety.
"Our generation is just filled with terrible parents … Why bring a child to a concert?" one disapproving commenter wrote.
"Begging y’all to stop doing this. This is child endangerment for many reasons," another comment read, and someone else added that the baby had a lack of hearing protection.
It's good to see that the baby likely ended up fine at the end of all of this, but hopefully this doesn't start becoming a trend at concerts!
