Khloé Kardashian would consider having more children in the future — on one condition. The topic came up during a recent episode of her Khloé in Wonder Land podcast. On the special episode, Khloé invited viewers to ask her anything. Unsurprisingly, someone asked Khloé about whether or not she plans on having more kids in the future. Khloé seemed open to the possibility, but a bit unsure. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, 41, clarified that her hesitancy has nothing to do with her age.
She feels like she’s happy with where she is currently.
Khloé is already mom to daughter True, 7, and son, Tatum, 2. She shares both children with her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson. Because she’s happy as a mom of two, she doesn’t plan on expanding her family right now. “I don’t feel that I’m missing anything in my life,” Khloé explained. “I know some women are like, ‘I want a third baby or a fourth,’ and that’s amazing. But I feel so happy. I love my life. I love my kids.”
That might change if she gets married.
When answering the question, Khloé explained that her decision to not have more children right now is less about her age and more about her marital status. “It’s not about age,” Khloé explained. “I know women can have babies later now.”
But she would only consider having another baby if she were married. “I don’t want to just have another kid and be a single mom,” she said. “I have a great system right now with my kids, and I also take care of a lot of other children too, so there’s a lot on my plate. But if — when, not if — when I meet my husband, and if it’s something that he wants, then we can talk about it.”
Khloé is not dating at the moment.
Though whether Khloé will have more kids seems to depend on a future husband, she’s not currently looking for one. “I’m not dating,” Khloé explained. “But I love it here. I really do. I feel like my life has been so happy and light and — it’s really sad — but enjoyable.”
She said the joy she’s been experiencing lately might have something to do with the fact that she hasn’t been dating anyone. “I feel like a lot of the drama is out of my life [now],” she added. “And I love that for me. I haven’t had that in a long time.” She went on to say that she loves her current routine and priorities.
She has ‘fears about dating with kids.’
While Khloé is enjoying her single life, she also has another reason for opting out of dating: She’s worried about how it would affect her kids. “I don’t know why these are my fears,” Khloé admitted. “But I would never want to change who I am for my children because another person came into my life … I never want to be taken away from my kids, even emotionally.”
In addition to wanting to spend more time with her kids while they’re young, Khloé has some safety concerns. “People are f—ing scary. I don’t know how long it would take for me to feel comfortable with someone else around my kids,” she said. “I don’t trust anyone.” Khloe explained that she reads “crazy s—” that “scares” her and makes her feel like having “a man around [her] kids” is something she doesn’t feel comfortable with.
