If you’re a Duggar daughter (or a woman who happens to be married to one of Jim Bob and Michelle‘s sons), you’re going to have to deal with a fair bit of pregnancy speculation during your childbearing years. And this time around, people are absolutely convinced that Joy-Anna Duggar is the one who’s expecting… even though if she is, she’s clearly hiding it.
Fans think they spotted a baby bump in Joy’s video.
Earlier this week, Joy shared a glimpse into what it looks like when she and her husband Austin Forsyth attempt to get her three kids ready and out of the house for church on Sunday mornings — obviously not an easy feat.
The Instagram video itself garnered a lot of criticism from her followers, from the way her kids got dressed on camera to the fact that she decided to wear makeup that day (yes, really). And as multiple people pointed out in a thread on Reddit, plenty of others think they spotted a secret baby bump.
People are convinced that this explains her choice of outfit.
Joy also received comments about her the dress she was wearing in the video being too “old lady” for her, but according to a theory that a few fans have come up with, she might have chosen that dress because it’s loose and comfortable… AKA perfect for hiding a bump and being comfy for a pregnant lady to wear while she’s still hiding said pregnancy.
“I get the feeling she hasn’t been going to the gym because she’s pregnant. We’re gonna see an announcement from Joy and Austin either by Valentine’s Day or March,” one person wrote, while another commenter added, “That’s the type of dress you only wear to be comfortable when pregnant.”
Joy hasn’t spoken about a pregnancy herself.
So far, this is, of course, all speculation, and Joy hasn’t made any announcements about her family or confirmed any of the rumors. However, last year she did say that she’s not done having babies during an Instagram Q&A with fans.
“We definitely want more babies,” Joy said at the time. “Not planning on anything right now. I do not feel done but I do not feel ready. … But we’re taking one at a time, or maybe two, you know if twins happen. But loving this stage of life and loving where we’re at. So just enjoying that.”
