Is it ever OK to put your hands on a child that isn’t yours? I feel like the answer is a resounding “No,” but people still do it. In this era of phones being equipped with cameras and people being everywhere, it doesn’t feel worth the risk, but not everyone feels that way, I guess. A white mom in Texas is facing charges after putting her hands on a Black teenage girl at a park. Not only did she do it, but the entire interaction also was caught on video, which only makes the adult look worse in this situation. Seeing the footage only reinforces that people really need to be mindful of their public behavior. And I’m talking to adults.
The incident took place at a park adjacent to a school in Frisco, Texas, according to Atlanta Black Star. The woman’s 8-year-old son allegedly threatened to harm a 13-year-old Black girl and her friends while they were at the park. So the girls gave him a stern warning to leave them alone.
Instead of telling her son to move away and play somewhere else, the white mom jumped into the argument, the outlet reported. The Black teen told the mom that her son was using inappropriate language and threatened to shoot her. “Watch your child,” the girl warns in the first video.
That’s when things began to escalate.
“Honey, excuse me, he is in third grade,” the white mom says in the video. Another adult woman with her chooses to get aggressive, telling the teen to “shut your f—ing mouth.”
The mom then gets physically aggressive with the teen, challenging her to fight while saying “Girlfriend, back up. You wanna bring it?” She then appears to grab the girl and continue tussling with her, the Black Star reported.
The girl tells the woman to “get the f— off me” and a second video shows her visibly shaken after the entire interaction. She calls her mom to give her an update. “Hi mama, there is a woman over here who just put her hands on me …” she says in the video. All of a sudden, the adult changes her tune. “No, no, no! Every person knows you touched me first. No, sweetie, no,” the mom says.
The girl’s mom, Krystal Randolph, shared the videos on Facebook to get more attention about what happened to her daughter.
“Today my child was assaulted by a 45 year old white woman after her son threatened to shoot my child in the face. Instead of her correcting her lil demon seed, she comes and targets my child out of all the kids there,” Randolph wrote in her post.
“I want her name, where she works, and I’m pressing charges to the FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW,” she continued in the post. “She was gone before I could make it to the school good, but imma make her famous THIS DAY.”
Randolph shared an update on February 20, 2026, noting that the woman wasn’t arrested but was charged with assault and has to appear before a judge.
