The big thing on social media for the past few years has been gender reveals. People continuously try to outdo what's already been done. Sometimes it results in an incredible viral moment, other times it ends in tragedy (remember last year's wildfire?!) and goes all kinds of wrong.
These reveals also go viral when the reaction of a parent or family member is extreme. Usually, they're overcome with emotion and can't hold back their excitement. But the latest gender reveal to be shared over and over was quite the opposite.

They're having a girl! As the balloon pops, the gathered crowd of loving family and friends erupted into cheers as the smaller pink balloons fly into the air.
Mom has the biggest smile on her face and giggles as she realizes she's going to have another little girl. But her husband had a very different reaction.
"Son of a b—-," he appears to scream out, with a very grumpy look on his face. As the rest of the crowd cheers and smiles, he rattles off a few more profanities.

The video of the dad's reaction was shared on TikTok to a profile containing only this video. The views has racked up over 723,900 views and counting since it was posted in April, and according to the comments section, no one was happy with the dad's response to finding out he's having a girl.
"Ugh and he already has a daughter, way to make them both feel unwanted," one commenter wrote.
"Glad to see I'm not the only one upset by the 'father's' poor reaction," another said. "If you can't be happy to have either one then you should have none."
"Omg! that poor baby girl," someone else wrote. "My heart already hurts for her."
Others tried to come to his defense, saying his reaction was a joke, but it really doesn't feel that way.
"I don't know why everyone is so offended," another commenter said. "it looked like his reaction was mostly for comedic purposes even if he might've been a little disappointed."
We sure hope his reaction to the birth was more positive.
