The relationship between Matthew Lawrence and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas is still pretty new … but they already have big plans for the future. But after revealing that they have a "game plan" for starting a family together, Matthew is pulling back a little, admitting that he isn't trying to put "pressure" on his girlfriend. Oh, boy …
Earlier this month, Matthew revealed that he and Chilli had talked about having kids
He's already impressed by Chilli's mom skills
Chilli already has a 25-year-old son, Tron, with ex Dallas Austin, so Matthew has gotten to see her as a parent firsthand.
"She's already a mother, she has an incredible son. I respect so much as to how she's raised him. She'd be an incredible mother again, and I'd be incredibly lucky, but that's way in the future," he said.
Their relationship is still pretty new
Chilli and Matthew didn't take their relationship public until January — just a few months after Matthew's divorce was finalized in September 2022 — so it would seem that things are still new between them, even though the couple has known each other for a long time.
If they're already talking kids, though, it sounds like things could be getting pretty serious fast!
So far, they seem to be going strong
Like we said, this is still very new, but given their history as friends, it looks like they're already working off of a great foundation.
Who knows? Maybe they'll have some exciting baby news to share soon. But in the meantime … no pressure!
