The world has been glued to any updates on the Titan submersible that went missing during a trip to explore the shipwreck of the Titanic, and with that has come a bit of spotlight on the stepson of one of the men on board. Brian Szasz has gotten a lot of flak this week for choosing to go to the Blink-182 concert while his stepfather is lost at sea, and now, he's speaking out.

Brian revealed he attended a Blink-182 concert during the search earlier this week
Now, he's speaking out himself
On Wednesday, Brian shared a video on his Instagram Stories in his own defense. He insisted that he only has "$100 to my name" and, due to an ongoing legal situation, is unable to leave the state and cannot get a passport, making it impossible for him to go to Canada, where the search is taking place. According to him, after watching the news for two days straight, he decided to take a break by going to a concert he already had a ticket for.
"It wasn't like, super fun," he said. "I was listening to some of my favorite songs, nodding my head, and just trying to get off the phone for like two hours or so and come right back into the drama."

He went on to call Cardi B a 'complete b----' who 'has no idea what's going on'
He accused Cardi of chasing the clout attached to "other people's suffering," and went on to call her "tasteless" for the message she sent so publicly.
"This whole situation is a f—ing nightmare, though. Everything about it," he said. "Especially what Hamish is going through down there, it's f—ing god awful … I haven't slept in days."
The submersible has yet to be located
And although "underwater noises" were detected on Wednesday, giving people hope that the people on board the Titan were still out there somewhere, time seems to be running out when it comes to the amount of oxygen they had available on the vehicle.
Here's hoping the families are able to get answers soon.
