Friendship is one of those things that makes life brighter and easier. We all get by with a little help from our friends just like The Beatles proudly proclaimed. Humans need someone to have fun with and to lean on in hard times.
The 10 celebrity friendships on this list are shining examples of this. These buddies clearly have each other on speed dial. They respect and support one another.
Harry Styles and Stevie Nicks
This friendship was made in rock and roll heaven. Harry first met Stevie in 2015 after attending a Fleetwood Mac concert. The two hit it off immediately. Two years later, Harry brought Stevie on stage to perform with him. She returned the favor in 2018.
Harry helped induct Stevie into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. "She is more than a role model; she’s a beacon to all of us," Harry gushed, per Rolling Stone. "Whenever you hear her voice, life gets a little bit better. When she sings, the world is hers, and it is yours."
Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen
These besties have opposite personalities. Andy is a little more outgoing and Anderson doesn't like being the center of attention. They balance each other out. They met when they were almost set up on a blind date, but things were always strictly platonic between the buddies.
Andy recalled meeting Anderson for the first time to the New York Times. "I thought he was a little standoffish," he explained. "But I liked making him laugh. That was my goal: Maybe I can crack this guy up, and that’s where we can come together."

Beanie Feldstein and Ben Platt
These theater nerds first met at a bar mitzvah in Los Angeles. They were best friends in high school and even went to prom together. They have supported each other living out their Broadway dreams.
"I think what Ben and I have is beyond friendship, honestly," she gushed to Broadway.com. "It's like a soulmate connection. We're like twins separated at birth or something."
Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart
Snoop and Martha first met in 2008 when the rapper appeared on her cooking show to make mashed potatoes. He returned the following year to make brownies. The pair formed an unlikely friendship that is just so adorable and somehow makes sense.
"I love Martha — like, I love her for real," Snoop gushed to Martha Stewart.com. "She's the big sister I never had. Being able to correct me, to teach me, to show me how to be better, to give me something to aspire to be."
Martha complimented him right back. "I like his laid-back energy — I like his outspokenness, I like his sense of timing, and I really enjoy to watch him cook," she stated.
Octavia Spencer and Allison Janney
Octavia and Allison didn't exactly like each other when they first met. They were crushing on the same guy 20 years ago and felt like the other was competition. The man is out of the picture, but the women found a deep friendship and respect for each other.
"Can you believe that we both liked the same guy?" Octavia asked People. "It's amazing!"
Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall
These funny men first met through a mutual friend, Keenen Ivory Wayans. Their talents are on display in the classic 1988 comedy Coming to America and the 2021 sequel. Eddie even made Arsenio the godfather to his daughter Bria.
Zach Braff and Donald Faison
These former Scrubs costars have kept in touch. Have you seen their T-Mobile commercials? They even have their own podcast called Fake Doctors, Real Friends With Zach + Donald. They consider their friendship a bromance.
[Zach]'s my best friend. I'm really fond of that man, I'm not ashamed to say it. And to the supporters of our bromance, I'd like to say, thank you," Donald stated to Yahoo! in 2016.
Michelle Williams and Busy Philipps
These talented ladies first met on the set of the hit teen drama Dawson's Creek. An unshakeable bound was formed that has seen the women through the highs and lows of life. "It's important to have strong, supportive women in your life whatever you do," Busy explained to Hollywire. "I'm glad I can be there for her and she's always there for me."
Mindy Kaling and B.J. Novak
Many people think these "friends" are actually dating and keeping it a secret from the world. Some even believe B.J. is the father of Mindy's children. Mindy tried to explain it to InStyle, but the relationship sounds a bit muddy.
"He is not my boyfriend, but he is not my best friend. I guess you could describe our relationship as a 'romantically charged camaraderie with loud arguments,' but I don't think Facebook would accept this as a new status," she mused.
Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, and Lisa Kudrow
This trio goes back to their Friends days. They have been there for the good times. Lisa and Jennifer supported Courteney when she got her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2023. They were there when the rain started to pour. They grieved the loss of their dear friend Matthew Perry together that same year.
