10 Secret Celeb Sexting Scandals That the Whole World Eventually Found Out About

Everyone has a secret. There are things we do in the shadows we don’t want others to know about. Some secrets are bigger than others. Modern communication has allowed people to stay in touch and even opened the door for spicy interactions via text message, direct messages, emails and more. It gets messy when the intended message becomes public.

The 2024 presidential race has been anything but normal. Former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and New York Magazine’s Olivia Nuzzi allegedly had an affair. They reportedly keep in touch with spicy sexts.

She was covering his campaign at the time, which is a journalistic no-no. He is married to actress Cheryl Hines, and she was engaged to fellow reporter Ryan Lizza

Anthony Weiner

Another politician who should have known better was former New York congressman Anthony Weiner. In 2011, he resigned from the US Congress after he was caught sending a woman a sexy picture on Twitter. He didn’t learn his lesson. Two years later, he sent a 22-year-old a sext when running for Mayor of New York City.

In August of 2016, it became public knowledge that he sent another sext while lying in bed with his young son. This is when his wife, Huma Abedin, had enough and divorced him. In 2017, he was found plead guilty transferring obscene material to a minor after sexting with a 15-year-old girl. He served 21 months in jail, registered as a sex offender, and was released in February of 2019.

Andrew Broad

It’s not just US politicians who act inappropriately. Andrew Broad served in the Australian House of Representatives until 2019 when a sexting scandal caused his resignation. He was caught using a sugar baby website to meet younger women, and one of them went public with his messages.

Let’s just say you will never hear a more creative use of the phrase  “G’day mate.” Andrew called it a “dumb mistake” and walked away from politics because it “made him not as nice a person.”

The GOAT of golf did not have the perfect home life the world thought he had. In 2009, this came out after a car crash on at his Orlando, Florida home. This caused the media to take a deeper look into his personal life, especially because his wife Elin Nordegren was forced to smash the back of his car windows to get him out safely until emergency responders could arrive at the scene.

It turned out that Tiger was having multiple affairs and more than half a dozen of the women came forward with spicy text messages. Elin and Tiger divorced the following year but remain co-parents to their two children.

Armie Hammer

Actor Armie Hammer was on top of the world until 2021 when news broke of disturbing sexual allegations against him. Multiple women came forward with shocking text messages filed with rape and cannibal fantasies. One even detailed a deserve to drink his partner’s blood.

Armie was investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department when one of the women accused him of rape. He was never charged. In a 2023 interview with Air Mail he confessed to being emotionally abusive but maintained that the BDSM he and his partners practiced was consensual. He claimed he was molested by a youth pastor when he was 13 years old.

Jeff Bezos

In January of 2019, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and MacKenzie Scott revealed their plans to divorce. The National Enquirer didn’t help the situation by publishing naughty text messages between Jeff and his girlfriend, Lauren Sanchez. “I love you, alive girl,” one of these messages read. “I will show you with my body, and my lips and my eyes, very soon.”

The Enquirer is owned by American Media Inc., which supports Donald Trump. Donald and Jeff are not exactly friends, so it appeared as if the publication was trying to get into the former’s good graces. Jeff and MacKenzie finalized their divorce in July of 2019.

Shane Warne

Another Australian who has behaved badly is cricket great Shane Warne. This womanizer had many scandals over the years. One of these was a three-way with two British models in 2006. This event started with some flirty text messages.

In 2003, he seduced stripper Angela Gallagher via spicy text messages as well. This lead to a three-month long affair.

David Boreanaz

Apparently, 2010 was not a good year for Bones and Angel actor, David Boreanaz. He admitted to cheating on his wife, Jaime Bergman, with Rachel Uchitel. Rachel also allegedly had an affair with Tiger Woods.

RadarOnline published text messages between Rachel and David. That same year, David was also sued for sexual harassment by an extra who worked on Bones. The lawsuit was dropped the following year.

Adam Levine

In 2022, the Maroon Five singer found himself in hot water. His wife, Behati Prinsloo, was pregnant with their third child at the time. Four women came forward with screenshots of text messages and Instagram DMs they claimed were sent to them by Adam.

One of these, women Instagram model Sumner Stroh, shared the receipts on TikTok. Many of her followers laughed at how not smooth Adam’s pickup lines were. Adam denied having an affair but did admit to “crossing the line” and acting inappropriately for a married father.

Draymond Green

Oh the stupid things we do in college. These days Draymond Green is a NBA star who plays for the Golden State Warriors. He first made a name for himself playing ball at Michigan State University. While studying at the school, he was interested in extracurricular activities as well.

He sent out this silly tweet to get attract the ladies: “DM’S ONLY 1) wanna kiss 2) I like your body 3) wanna have sex 4) always liked you 5) your cute af 6) I want you but you can’t tell nobody…”

Hopefully he has learned better moves off the court these days.
