Jennifer Lawrence has finally spoken out about that nude photo scandal and her response (naturally) does all women proud.
Nude photos of Jennifer Lawrence leaked on the web in 2021, along with other celebrities, like Ariana Grande and Rihanna.
First things first, if you were expecting her to issue some sort of apology for (gasp!) being naked, she’s here to set the record straight:
“I started to write an apology, but I don’t have anything to say I’m sorry for,” she recently told Vanity Fair
“It is not a sex crime. It is a sexual violation,” she says.
“It’s disgusting. The law needs to be changed, and we need to change. Just because I’m a public figure, just because I’m an actress, does not mean that I asked for this.”
The actress was just one of many female celebs whose phone was hacked last month and photos posted to online forums like 4Chan and Reddit. You can read her full interview in the November 2021 issue of Vanity Fair.
