When people get mad, they get really mad. In case you haven't heard, Kristen Bell confessed she smokes weed at home and it put all sorts of people in their feels — and not for the best reasons. Folks are legit mad at this celeb mom for even daring to consume marijuana because she has young kids and her husband is more than 15 years sober from substance abuse. Well, Dax Shepard has defended Kristen's weed use in a way that, hopefully, will shut down every critic once and for all.

Kristen is still catching heat after admitting she is all about the weed (in moderation, of course) at home.
"I like my Vape pen quite a bit. Weed rules. Weed is my drug of choice, for sure," Kristen Bell admitted to Marc Maron on his podcast about her marijuana love, according to Us Weekly. "I can't do it around my kids, which is a phenomenal amount of hours each week. Once a week, if I'm just exhausted and we're about to sit down and watch 60 Minutes, why not?"
Kristen and Dax, who've been married since 2013, are the proud parents of two daughters, Lincoln and Delta.
Dax is here to shut down critics who think his wife isn't being considerate considering his past with drug addiction.
"I just loved to get f—ed-up — drinking, cocaine, opiates, marijuana, diet pills, pain pills, everything," Dax once confessed to Playboy about his past battle with addition. "Mostly my love was Jack Daniels and cocaine. I lived for going down the rabbit hole of meeting weird people. Of course, come Monday I would be tallying up all the different situations, and each one was progressively more dangerous. I got lucky in that I didn't go to jail."
The celeb dad recently took to Twitter to defend Kristen's actions.
And basically doesn't want to hear about her enjoying marijuana at home.
As you can see, folks really dig Dax's stance.
They don't think it's anyone's business what these two do.
It is OK to let this celeb couple do what they think is best for their relationship.
People find their honesty quite refreshing.
Kristen is far from the only celeb to unashamedly admit to using weed.
A number of stars — from Anna Faris to Charlize Theron — have been candid about how they're able to be good parents while partaking in a little recreational smoking, whether it's to help them relax or to improve their sleep habits. Everyone has a right to do what they want in the comfort of their own homes if they abide by the laws of their state, so perhaps it's time to stop the judgment.
