50 Cent Seeks Sole Custody of Son After His Mom Daphne Joy Is Mentioned in Diddy Lawsuit

The lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs is claiming casualties. Model Daphne Joy was among the names of women who allegedly served as sex workers in the lawsuit filed in February. She is the former girlfriend of music mogul and actor 50 Cent, and they share a child together.

As a result of her alleged involvement with Diddy and the nature of the work she did, 50 Cent has decided that he is going to file for sole custody of their son. It remains to be seen how things will go, but it’s interesting that 50 Cent made such a decision.

50 Cent didn't waste any time.

“Given the latest developments and news of Daphne Joy’s involvement in the Diddy lawsuit, 50 is going for sole custody of his son,” a source told Us Weekly.

He seemingly took shots at his ex on Instagram.

Based on his reaction, it seems that 50 Cent didn’t know about his ex’s past connections to Diddy. He took to Instagram to voice his surprise. “I didn’t know you was a sex worker, you little sex worker.LOL Yo this s— is a movie,” he captioned a photo of himself in the rain standing under an umbrella and smoking a cigar.

Daphne Joy shared a cryptic message on Instagram.

Daphne Joy responded in her own way on social media. In her Instagram Stories, she shared a photo of herself hiking, writing, “Thank you God for your love,” Page Six reported. She was one of several women, including rapper Yung Miami, who were directly named by Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones in his $30 million lawsuit against Diddy.

She spoke out about the allegations.

“I am deeply hurt by the lies in Rodney Jones’ lawsuit,” the influencer wrote in an Instagram post. “The claim that I am a sex worker is 100% false and character assassination. I am retaining an attorney to explore all legal remedies against both Rodney and his attorney,” she continued.

She also shared a video of herself crying. “I wouldn’t wish this on any woman,” she wrote over the emotional moment. “God hears me and that’s all that matters.”

She also had a message for 50 Cent.

She also got on Instagram to hit back at 50, claiming that he raped her and was physically abusive during their relationship. She also wrote that he is “wreaking havoc, frenzy, and chaos onto people’s lives.”

She called out his inability to co-parent, revealing that she and their son moved to be closer to him and he only saw the boy “10 times out of the 2 years” they lived close by.

“You are no longer my oppressor and my God will handle you from this point on,” she wrote.
