Adele’s Reaction to a Fan Using a Filter on Her is the Funniest Thing We’ve Seen All Day

Adele has a great sense of humor when it comes to fan encounters. In a recently resurfaced video from the beginning of her Las Vegas residency, the singer hilariously responds to a fan using a TikTok filter. The video originally went viral back in November of 2022, but it's back in a big way.

Fan interactions are a regular part of Adele's show.

"Just Adele coming up to me randomly and making me forgot my whole entire existence and just following up and crying like a pendeja," the fan captioned the video.

Jamiee Guerrero, who uses the name Jayme on TikTok, already has her phone out and ready as Adele gets closer. Thinking they are going to pose for a selfie, Adele leans in, smiling.

Quickly, she realizes that something looks off. "Is there a filter on that? What have you done to my face?!" she exclaims.

She called the filter 'so weird.'

"Woah, girl! Get that filter off my face! That’s so weird," Adele teases, bursting into hysterical laughter.

"What's your name? Why are you using filters like that? We don't look like that, darling!" she says, turning to address the young woman.

At this point, Jamiee has lost the ability to form sentences because she is in total shock. "I know," she replies.

Adele's reactions are so sweet.

The singer goes on to ask Jamiee her name and where she’s from. "I live in Los Angeles," Jamiee replies before Adele asks where she's originally from.

"Connecticut," she replies. Adele asks if anyone else is from Connecticut and tells Jamiee she may be the only one in attendance that night.

She goes on to ask Jamiee to share a favorite childhood memory before she begins to sing her song "When We Were Young."

'Her music helped me heal,' Jamiee says.

At that point, Jamiee bursts into tears before she can get a word out.

"Oh Jamiee, don't cry!" Adele says, hugging her.

Everyone in the audience can be heard giving Jamiee a lot of love.

“The reason I was so emotional when I spoke to Adele was due to the heartache I experienced in a past relationship," Jamiee shared via Storyful. "Her music was key to helping me heal during that time."
