They’ve been together for three years at this point, but it was only recently that Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner started attending red carpet events together. Most recently, they stepped out at the Critics Choice Awards, where Timothée gave his longtime girlfriend the sweetest shout out while accepting an award.
However, his choice of words in his speech seemed to have confused a fellow actor, and her very candid social media comment on the subject is cracking people up.

After he was announced as the winner of Best Actor for his role in Marty Supreme, Timmy took the stage and was sure to include a pretty adorable message for Kylie, who was watching him from the audience.
“Thank you to my partner of three years,” he said. “Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
Amanda was a bit confused.
When Evan Ross Katz posted about Timothée’s acceptance speech in an Instagram post, the Mamma Mia star took the opportunity to admit that one part of what he said was a bit confusing to her.
“OH not like a foundation/charity I was curious about that,” she commented.
Yeah, Timmy was talking about the foundation of his relationship and life with Kylie, not an actual charitable organization. While that was clear to some fans right away, others have already admitted that they were just as confused as Amanda was while listening to his speech.
She’s clearly not the only one who was a bit baffled.
When Amanda’s post was discussed on Reddit, people admitted they were cracking up at her comment, especially since it seemed to make her even more relatable to them.
“Lmao love when celebs comment on social media like they’re regular people,” one fan wrote.
Others admitted they actually had the same confusion she did, with one commenting, “Same. Thought he was thanking a non profit foundation partner until he said I love you.”
At least Amanda wasn’t alone in her confusion!
