Even though she’s now in her early 40s, Anne Hathaway really seems to be aging in reverse, but some people are convinced she owes her youthful appearance to more than just good genes and a solid skin care routine. After a video of Anne taking in a fashion show made the rounds on social media, there’s more speculation than ever that the Devil Wears Prada star has gone under the knife. So what is the truth?
It all started with footage of Anne at a Ralph Lauren show.

In the video, which was filmed when Anne sat in the front row at the fall 2025 Ralph Lauren runway show in Manhattan on April 17, she’s looking perfectly poised in a tan trench coat, her long hair in a high ponytail.
The 42-year-old actress is smiling for photos as flashbulbs go off all around her, looking as young as ever.
People began speculating that Anne has had work done.
The replies to the video, which went viral on X, are filled with people calling Anne a “vampire” for her ageless looks, while others went straight to speculating about what procedures she may have undergone.
“That’s all Botox and filler her face never moves even when she smiles,” one person wrote.
Another reply read, “Very very tasteful nip and tuck, plus Botox, can do wonders.”
An expert has weighed in, too.
Although Anne herself has never copped to cosmetic surgery, aesthetician Ashley Aldridge shared in a since-deleted Instagram post that she believes the actress has had jaw filler, which would allow her face to look so “snatched” (plus, the high pony probably didn’t hurt, either).
“Look closely and you can see her jawline filler as she’s speaking,” she said in her post, according to The Daily Mail. “It could also just be her natural anatomy. But, if it is filler, there are ways to make jawline filler look more natural and seamless.”
Back in 2023, Anne told People that the aging process is “personal.”
“Aging is just another word for living,” she said. “And what you do with it from there is personal and up to you. I feel great – I feel better than I did in my twenties because I’m taking much better care of myself.”
