Inside the Beverly Hills Mansion Britney Spears Once Called Home

Forever the princess of pop, Britney Spears has had a huge run at the top of the pop list. Though it's been some time since we've gotten new music from the star (she's currently on hiatus from her Los Vegas show – and not likely to return), her light is still as strong as ever, and we predict it will be that way for a good long while.

She's had her fair share of success, and Britney has dealt with some struggles over the years, too. Recently, her conservatorship, which has been in place for 10 years, changed hands from her father, Jamie Spears, who was the supervisor of her conservator — meaning her finances and daily life are under were under his supervision. It still hasn't been settled who is going to take over that role — it might be Britney's sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, but hopefully, whoever is tasked with that continues to keep her safe – so she can be happy, well, and a strong mother for her two boys.

Though things have been strained from time to time for the "Toxic" singer, she seems happy in her home with her boyfriend, Sam Asghari. Before she was with Sam, Brit had lived in a beautiful mansion she had purchased in 2007, just after her divorce from Kevin Federline. According to TopTenRealEstateDeals.com, Britney lived there until 2012, when she sold it for a little less than what she spent on buying the home.

The home is beautiful, and she was lucky to call it home for those four years. Take a look inside and see the multimillion-dollar home in a private, gated-and-guarded community in Beverly Hills, California.

Costly Beauty

This beautiful mansion was home to Britney Spears after her divorce from Kevin Federline. She purchased the home in 2007, and put it back on the market in 2012, taking a $2 million loss when she sold it. That sounds astronomical to us, but for her, it was likely more comfortable to take a faster sale than wait for a little bit of money. The 7,500-square-foot home has six bedrooms and 6 1/2 bathrooms.

Grand Entrance

We love a wonderful roomy foyer, and this home doesn't disappoint in that area. The entrance has high ceilings that give a glimpse of the second floor of the house. That massive chandelier is the definition of elegance, and it's definitely the focal point in this large, airy space.

Lovely Dining Room

This spacious dining room holds a table set for 10 people, which is impressive given the space doesn't look even the slightest bit cramped. We bet Britney had loads of lovely gatherings and holiday dinners at this table. It's also got an impressive chandelier above the table, and gorgeous French doors opening to the outside.

Dream Chef's Kitchen

We're obsessed with looking at the fantastic kitchens the celebrities have in their homes, and this one does not disappoint. The ivory and black chef's kitchen has ample space on the counters — all the storage anyone could ever want — and we see a double-door fridge that would be perfect for parents who have a few teenagers at home.

Spacious Living Room

The kitchen overlooks the living room, which is right off the side. This room is decorated with large white couches and incredible artwork above the fireplace, right in the middle of the room. We see the beautiful iron railings above the foyer on the second floor, and there's nowhere in this room that doesn't have a beautiful view.

Private Patio

Living in this space, celebrities won't have to worry about privacy, because there's loads of thick foliage here to give them the privacy they want while they lounge by the pool. We love this conversation set around a cozy outdoor fireplace and could imagine, with the beautiful mild weather of Beverly Hills, many nights are spent hanging out right here.

Let's Go for a Swim!

Seriously, we're in love with this pool and would love to spend time here lounging, sunbathing, and exercising. There's a hot tub area off to the side, and all the seating for adults to gather for a party or to hang out for a kid's birthday party, too. Even the outside of the house is elegant and doesn't take away from the beautiful gardens.

Elegant Upstairs

On the second floor, here we see those impressively elegant iron railings along the hallway and around the chandelier that was a big focal point downstairs in the foyer. This is the perfect space for a reading area, and we love these built-in bookshelves that line the walls. It feels incredibly romantic in here and gives us Beauty and the Beast vibes.

From the Top

Here's a look from the second floor, looking down into the living room — and wow this view. Looking from up here, we can appreciate the spaciousness of downstairs and all the air that's flowing through. Also, there's an incredible amount of light that is accentuated by the light-colored décor.

One of the Seven Bedrooms

Here's a look at one of the six bedrooms this gorgeous home has. We're guessing this would have been where one of Britney's sons — either Sean Preston or Jayden James — slept, though we imagine the décor was different when they lived in the home. This room looks inviting, and with the neutral colors, it really could be an excellent guest room for whoever decided to come and stay.

Master Bedroom Fit for a Pop Princess

We knew there was going to be an impressive master bedroom in this house, and we're not disappointed at all. We love the king-sized bed (maybe it's even a California king) and all the space that's still left to walk (or dance) around. The artwork on the wall behind the bed looks to be the same artist as the work that's hanging in the living room.

Oh That Balcony

If this is what we'd get if we had a mansion instead of a home, sign us up please! This is the balcony that's off the master bedroom, meaning one could wake up in the morning and sit out here for that first cup of coffee for the day. There's enough room for a few people up here, and the curtains pull closed if it's too sunny, or for a little extra privacy.

Master Bathroom

Talk about elegant! This en suite bathroom is perfection with that large soaker tub we bet Britney used after long days of dance practice, or when she just wanted a break. We love the old-feel embellishments in this room — from the puffy Austrian blinds, to the patterned wallpaper. It's a little home spa that would be a wonderful place to unwind after a long day.

Walk-In Closet

We know celebrities have closets that aren't like those of regular people, and taking a look at the closet space in this home, it's insane. It looks like a fancy boutique, and it likely evolved along with Britney's style. There's so much space in here — it's bigger than the bedroom in a regular house. We like the change of pace in this space, choosing the darker wood where the rest of the house tends to have a lighter color palette.

Gorgeous Backyard

We know that a home is special when the view from the outside matches what's inside, and this home has it all. Even looking at the building from the pool view, we can tell it's got that Old World vibe in the Italianate villa style. It's warm, inviting, and with it being back on the market, we're sure someone is going to be happy living here.
