Britney Spears Says She’ll Find a ‘New Family’ After Calling Out Jamie Lynn & Kevin Federline

In the years since she was freed from her conservatorship, Britney Spears hasn’t tried to hold herself back from sharing what she really thinks about the people in her life — especially her family — and she’s not about to stop now.

It’s not clear what inspired the singer’s latest rant, but she’s coming for both ex-husband Kevin Federline and her younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears. Maybe now that Britney is spending more time with her sons again, she’s reanalyzing the times in her life when those around her made her situation feel even harder.

Britney declared that she will ‘find a new family.’

Sharing a still of a young Dakota Fanning flipping the bird from the movie Uptown Girls, Britney declared that she’s in the market for a new family before going in on Kevin and Jamie Lynn.

“Jamie Lynn never let me hold Ivy one time when I would visit in Louisiana during covid in two week trips and Kevin wouldn’t let me use the bathroom when I would pick my children up in their house !!!” she wrote. “They made me feel like a slave and have all their secret things they did behind my back and all I ever did was work for my dad !!! I will find a new family !!!”

Ivey is Jamie Lynn’s youngest daughter, who was born in 2018, so she would have been freshly 2 when the COVID pandemic first began. This isn’t the first time we’ve heard of drama between the sisters (and definitely not the first time we’ve heard about beef between Britney and Kevin) but this time, Britney hasn’t shared what triggered these feelings.

Fans are cheering Britney on.

The comments on Britney’s Instagram post are off, but that hasn’t stopped her fans from showing their support for her elsewhere.

“I hope Britney is able to find peace one day. Cut off her family and just focus on living her best life,” one fan on Reddit wrote in response to Britney’s rant.

Another said, “i hope she does find peace and happiness in life. Her family mistreated her because they wanted her to be famous. Her family did not have unconditional love. They sold her to the highest bidder to the elites. Being blood related does not mean there will be unconditional love.”

At this point, it seems like Britney would probably agree with that assessment.

Jamie Lynn reportedly isn’t too worried about what Britney is saying.

According to what a source close to the Sweet Magnolias actress told Page Six, Jamie Lynn isn’t “really concerned about the post” since in her mind, what Britney is saying isn’t true to begin with.

“[Britney] held Ivey, and Ivey loves her,” she said.

So far, Jamie Lynn and Kevin haven’t publicly responded to Britney’s rant, but it wouldn’t be surprising if she ends up having more to say on social media soon. Let it all out, girl.
