Not all celebrities want their romantic life up for public consumption, but sometimes, there's simply no way around it. Former reality star and musician Brooke Hogan just confirmed that she’s been married since 2022. Brooke, who is the daughter of former professional wrestler Hulk Hogan, married hockey player Steven Oleksy over a year ago, and no one knew about it until now. Despite her years in the spotlight because of her famous family, Brooke seems to keep a pretty low profile, which could be why it was so easy for her to keep her marriage a secret for so long. But now, she’s proud to share her husband with the world.

The secret is officially out.
To commemorate the new year, Brooke shared two black and white images on Instagram: one of herself and Steven, and a solo shot of her new hubby.
"A rare sighting of the husband. We like to keep to ourselves, but somehow the news is out," she began her caption.
Brooke made it clear that she wasn't going to share a lot of her life with her husband.
"So here he is, people: The kindest, sweetest badass you'll ever meet. I'm really lucky. God did me a solid on this one. Thank you for all the kind words of celebration and encouragement. We feel so blessed. Thank you for being kind. ☺️ Now back to our regularly scheduled privacy," she wrote.

Steven shared the news, too.
He commented on her post, "You have taught me so much on what 'real' means and what truly matters in life. I love you!"
He went on to share the news on X (formerly Twitter), writing, "I value privacy on a deep level, but I guess some secrets are just too amazing to hide forever. Somehow the news got out, so I just wanted to thank everyone for the love and support. Especially the journalists who chose positivity and kindness."
They didn't confirm a wedding date, but here's what we do know.
TMZ was the first to break the news of the marriage between Brooke and Steven shortly before the end of 2023. The news outlet shared a black and white photo taken shortly after the couple was pronounced married. At the time, TMZ reported that it was just Brooke and Steven at the ceremony but that they celebrated with his family in Michigan in December 2023.
Brooke recently skipped her father's wedding.
Even though she shared her marriage celebration with her husband’s family, it’s safe to assume that Brooke's family wasn’t included. Brooke is estranged from her famous father Hulk, skipping out on his latest wedding in 2023.
In an Instagram post, she explained her choice, writing, "For my own journey to healing and happiness, I have chosen to create some distance between myself and my family, and am focusing on people and things that heal my heart and align with my own personal beliefs, goals and values."
