Cameron Diaz & Benji Madden Photographed With Daughter Raddix in Rare Sighting

It's been nearly a decade since we've seen Cameron Diaz on the big screen, but this celebrity mom has been busy behind the scenes raising her 3-year-old daughter, Raddix, with husband Benji Madden. Since she's been living a more private life, it's rare that we see the Charlie's Angels star out and about — let alone with her toddler in tow. But recently, Cameron, Benji, and Raddix were spotted on a family outing, and it looks like this little one has officially entered her threenager era.

Cameron, Benji, and Raddix were photographed in Montecito.

The family was seen leaving a restaurant called The Lune on Sunday morning after having breakfast, and the photos will feel very familiar to anyone who has ever parented a toddler, Page Six reported. It looks like Raddix had to be carried out by her mom, who already seems like a pro at handling a 3-year-old in all her glory.

Raddix may have been mid-tantrum.

Even though we have no idea what was actually unfolding in this moment, the paparazzi photos seem to tell the story of what was going on here, including the part where Raddix lost her red shoes. Her dad was left to carry them to the car, and her mom picked her up and hauled her off.

Going to restaurants with kids is rarely a peaceful experience!

Commenters were full of sympathy for Cameron.

When Page Six shared the photos of Cameron, Benji, and Raddix on its official Instagram account, fellow parents couldn't help but comment about how much they identified with Cameron in this moment.

"Stars, they're just like us," one person wrote, adding a crying laughing emoji.

Another commenter added, "Ah, the surfboard hold. She’s officially a mom now."

Cameron has opened up about the struggles of motherhood before.

In an interview on the Kelly Clarkson Show last year, she admitted that she does lose it when parenting her daughter but has figured out a strategy that works for her to handle it in the moment.

"If you do blow up, just say, 'Oh, my God. Mommy lost her s—, and I didn't mean to say that to you if I hurt your feelings or if I upset you. I just want you to know Mommy's human, too,'" she said.

The toddler years can most certainly be brutal.

It appears Cameron and Benji have some solid teamwork going on, so there's no doubt they'll survive this time — just like all of the parents before them did. Here's hoping we'll get another glimpse of Raddix soon, but in the meantime, maybe she can take it easy on her mom? We know that's a lot to ask of a 3-year-old!
