Will Smith has an ally in rapper Cardi B. Earlier this week, Will's former assistant, Brother Bilaal, claimed that he had walked in on Will having sex with actor Duane Martin. The allegation was made during an interview with internet blogger Tasha K. Will’s reps, as well as his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, have denied the claim, with Jada going so far to say that she plans to take legal action because of what was said.
Cardi B has had her own incident with Tasha K, and successfully sued the blogger. This week, Cardi made it clear that she has nothing but love for Will, and understands what it’s like to be on the receiving end of hate.

Cardi made it clear that what's happening isn't sitting right with her.
“I don’t like what people be doing to Will Smith,” Cardi said during an Instagram Live earlier this week that was shared on X (formerly Twitter). “I be feeling like Will Smith is very unproblematic and I feel like he has a nice heart, and that’s the thing,” she added.
“I found out that Will Smith is a Libra … Libras, we be getting tried, we be getting tried, and then when we outburst, we outburst so f—ing heavy, that we become the ones in the wrong. We go so crazy, people be like, 'Oh my God!'”
She also threw shade at interviewer Tasha K for her role in the drama.
She didn’t leave it there. Her defense of Will continued, with her saying “Ya'll be doing that to Will Smith. And I don't like that some people never f—ing change. I'm so tired of people picking on that man. Deada–.”
Cardi clearly doesn't trust the blogger given their history.
Of course, Cardi is talking about the claims that Will and Duane Martin had a sexual relationship, which Brother Bilaal claimed during an interview on the UnWine With Tasha K podcast. Cardi has a history with Tasha K, after the blogger made negative claims about her.
It seems that Cardi may have been softening her stance on Tasha K, but the Will Smith situation changed her mind.
“I don’t like how I got fooled a couple of weeks ago … some people just never change,” she said in the video.
Cardi took Tasha K to court and won.
Cardi B sued Tasha K for defamation in 2019, after Tasha K made a series of negative claims about her. The case went to court, and the judge ruled in Cardi’s favor, ordering the blogger to pay her $3 million, which she has yet to pay.

Jada is also talking about suing.
During an interview with popular radio show The Breakfast Club, Jada said that legal action would be taken, though she didn’t make it clear if it was only against Bilaal for making the allegations, or if Tasha K would be included in the suit because the claims were made on her show.
“This story is completely fabricated and the claim is unequivocally false,” Will’s reps said in a statement shared by People.
