Cardi B has given birth to her third child! On Thursday, September 12, the 31-year-old "I Like It" rapper took to social media and revealed the birth of the newest addition, shared between her and her estranged husband, Offset, whom she filed for divorce from in July. In the Instagram carousel, the mother of three is seen in the hospital, smiling while holding the baby. In another shot, her and Offset's oldest daughter, Kulture, 6, holds the baby while the 32-year-old former Migos rapper holds their 3-year-old son, Wave. Offset is also pictured holding the baby.

"The prettiest lil thing 9/7/24 ," Cardi captioned her post, featuring her newborn daughter. Other photos in the post show Cardi breastfeeding and bonding with her child, a photo of the rapper's sister holding the baby, a video snippet of Cardi holding the infant and smiling down at her before doing a dance for the camera, a picture of her kissing the child, and one photo of her seemingly in the act of giving birth.
People congratulated her on the new arrival.
Fans rushed to congratulate Cardi on her newest addition. "Congratulations praying for a restful and peaceful recovery for you and Welcome little lady may your days be filled with love," one person wrote. "Congratulations mama ," singer Teyana Taylor posted.

In August, Cardi revealed she was expecting.
Cardi revealed that she was pregnant on August 4. "With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power!" she wrote in a post on Instagram.
"Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion!" she continued in the post. "I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!"
The announcement came one day after she filed for divorce.
The rapper posted her pregnancy announcement one day after filing for divorce from Offset after six years of marriage. This is her second time filing for divorce from him. "It’s not based on cheating rumors, but rather has been a long time coming," a representative of hers said at the time, according to People.
People commented on the divorce news.
"All she wants is a good healthy family that's why she keep taking him back, she want her kids dad to be in their lives having a strong family bond," one person wrote. "I feel so bad for her as a woman."
Others commented that they'll believe the divorce once it's finalized, given that Cardi filed for divorce from the rapper in 2020 but later called it off.
