Now that August is here, it's officially that time of year again: back-to-school. If your kids haven't already returned to the classroom, there's a good chance your days are consumed with shopping for clothes and supplies and getting everyone back into some semblance of a routine now that summer is rapidly coming to an end. And even celebrity parents don't get a pass from the stress of this time of year.
Just like we're preparing to put our kids back on the bus again, many famous families are doing the same kind of prep. And some of these stars — including Angelina Jolie and Meghan King — have shared photos of their kids on their first day of school like the proud parents they are.

Angelina Jolie
Angelina Jolie took to Instagram to share a photo of her daughter, Zahara, with her new friends as she started college — yes, college — at Spelman. (She grew up so fast!)
"Congratulations to all new students starting this year. A very special place and an honor to have a family member as a new Spelman girl," Angelina captioned the pic.
Meghan King
Former Real Housewives star Meghan King took to Instagram to show off her three kids — daughter Aspen and twin sons Hayes and Hart — as they were ready to leave for the first day of school with a video from their front porch. Four-year-old Hart definitely wasn't shy about striking a pose!
Melissa Joan Hart
Sabrina the Teenage Witch star Melissa Joan Hart sent off her three sons — Tucker, Braydon, and Mason — to school this year. One of them is old enough to drive and thought he'd escaped having his picture taken on the first day of school.
"Thankful for friends who are teachers who will pull one aside and grab his obligatory first day of school pic because he can drive and snuck out of the house before you could snap one!" she shared in her caption.
If only we were all that lucky!
Gabrielle Union & Dwyane Wade
Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union sent their 3-year-old daughter, Kaavia, back to preschool with a brand new hairstyle that she showed off in a video on Instagram featuring her mom, of course. (After all, this is a toddler we're talking about!) She looks so cute!
Jessie James Decker
Jessie James Decker and husband Eric Decker were among the parents sending their kids back to school this month. Vivianne and Eric started third and first grade, respectively, and mom Jessie shared that youngest son Forrest will be starting pre-K, too.
"I can't believe how big they are getting. I made cinnamon rolls, sausage, and grits per the request of little Eric, and Vivi had a specific hairstyle in mind with a little lip gloss," she wrote. "Was a beautiful morning. We are so proud of them."
Jamie Lynn Spears
It's hard to believe that Jamie Lynn Spears' oldest daughter, Maddie, is already high school age, but the proud mom shared a snap of her posing outside of school on her first day of ninth grade.
"Time literally flies by … don't take a second of it for granted," she wrote.
Sean & Catherine Lowe
This year, back-to-school was a pretty big deal for former Bachelor stars Sean and Catherine Lowe. They sent their oldest son, Samuel, to his first day of kindergarten in mid-August, and Catherine shared plenty of footage of the morning (swipe to see the other pics and videos).
Ant Anstead
Ant Anstead's son Hudson — whom he shares with ex-wife Christina Haack — started school a little earlier this year since he was going to a new "summer school." What an exciting time for this 2-year-old!
"This has been building up the past few days from him precisely choosing his new lunch box to exactly what he wants to wear today! (Of course he had to carry it the whole way)," Ant wrote. "He's so independent and grown-up and he has a real skip in his step."
Nick & Vanessa Lachey
Love Is Blind hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey got to send all three of their kids back to the classroom, with Brooklyn, 7, and Phoenix, 5, heading to the same elementary school together.
"Time is flying by … and I'm truly not sure how I feel. It's bittersweet. Also, Camden is rubbing it in that he has an extra week of summer off. I don't have the heart to tell him [his siblings] get out a week earlier at the end of the year," Vanessa wrote her caption.
Nick & Vanessa Lachey — Again
The couple's 9-year-old son, Camden, started at a new school this year, and he seemed pretty pumped about it — especially since his mom had a balloon arch made up for the occasion just for him!
"This kid is starting a new chapter, and we are SOOO proud!" Vanessa wrote.
Ali Manno
Former Bachelorette Ali Manno and her husband Kevin Manno shared this adorable picture from her kids' first days going back to school in Nashville. Her daughter, Molly, got to start first grade, while little brother Riley celebrated his first day of pre-K.
Carly Waddell
While we're on the subject of Bachelor Nation stars, Carly Waddell was also among the moms who got to send a new kindergartener out into the world (and Bella looks so excited about it!).
"And just like that, I have a kid in school," Carly wrote, adding several crying emojis. She's not the only mom who feels that way around this time of year!

Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte's wife Kayla shared this sweet photo of their kids, 5-year-old Caiden and 3-year-old Liv, as they headed back to school. They clean up pretty well and look so prepared for the day ahead with their backpacks and water bottles.
Jana Kramer
Singer and actress Jana Kramer shared a photo of her kids, 6-year-old Jolie and 3-year-old Jace (who she shares with ex-husband Mike Caussin), as they were ready to leave for their first days in first grade and pre-K. Jolie looks thrilled, but Jace might have wanted to go back to bed. We get it!
