While there are some babies and kids out there who make us wonder if they might have been switched at birth at the hospital, most kids tend to look like some sort of blend of both of their parents (since, you know, that's kind of how DNA works and everything). But then there are those children who turn out to be the spitting image of either their mom and dad, and the resemblance can be uncanny. And of course, this goes for celebrity kids, too.
As our favorite famous moms raise their children, we can't help but notice how many of their daughters are already mini versions of the ladies who gave them life. Mother-daughter duos such as Reese Witherspoon and Ava Phillippe immediately come to mind, but there are a ton of famous look-alike moms and daughters in Hollywood.
We've loved watching these celeb kids grow up and come into their own, but these girls are never escaping the comparisons to their mamas. Not that it's a bad thing, of course — they're lucky enough to resemble some of the most beautiful actresses and singers we can think of.

Reese Witherspoon & Ava Phillippe
It's hard to deny that Ava Phillippe, who is a full-fledged adult these days — looks just like her mom, Reese Witherspoon, did when she was younger, and that is a huge compliment since the Legally Blonde star has always been beautiful. Maybe it's the hair and the eyes — or the fact that Ava's face belonged to Reese first.
Salma Hayek & Valentina Paloma Pinault
