Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger have welcomed their third child together. Chris, 45, and Katherine, 34, shared a joint post about their son, days after he was born on November 8. The Guardians of the Galaxy star and Katherine, who is an author, tied the knot in 2019. Their first daughter together, Lyla Maria, was born in August 2020. Two years later came little sister Eloise Christina in May 2022, and now, they’re adding another kiddo to their crew.

They're 'overjoyed' by their son's arrival.
Chris and Katherine wrote that they’re “overjoyed” to share the news about their son, who they named Ford Fitzgerald Schwarzenegger Pratt.
“Mama and baby are doing well and Ford’s siblings are thrilled by his arrival,” they wrote in a post on Instagram. “We feel so blessed and grateful.”
Katherine previously spoke about her desire to provide her kids with a sense of 'privacy.'
Given that Katherine’s parents are actor Arnold Schwarzenegger and journalist/author Maria Shriver, many people would assume that her childhood was not exactly normal. However, in 2021, she told Today that her parents made sure she and her siblings had “a really normal upbringing, or as normal of an upbringing as possible.”
At the time, she said she would like the same for her children, which is why she only shares pictures of her children in which their faces are not visible. “It’s something that’s really important to my husband and I to give to our kids and to be able to have that privacy, and not necessarily show much of them on social media,” she told Today. Their son’s birth announcement post is simply a graphic that displays his name and date of birth.

Watching Katherine be a mom 'makes me fall more and more in love with [her] every day,' Chris wrote on Mother's Day.
In an Instagram Post Chris shared on Mother’s Day, he praised his “darling Katherine for all you do.”
“Witnessing you be a mom to Lyla and Eloise and a stepmom to Jack makes me fall more and more in love with you every day,” Chris wrote. “The 24/7 job of scheduling, transporting, loving, nurturing, managing calendars, planning activities, the nutrition, the boundaries, the rules, the patience, the gentleness, the firmness, the wisdom, and grace. It’s truly a marvel.”
Chris is also dad to Jack Pratt, 12, whom he shares with his ex-wife Anna Faris.
Chris welcomed his first child during his marriage to actress Anna Faris. Their son, Jack, was born in August 2012. Previously, Chris told Entertainment Tonight that Jack is “a great big brother” to his other children.
Anna spoke to People about co-parenting with Chris in 2022. At the time, she praised Katherine, calling her “awesome.” “She’s just on top of it. I love how she is with Jack,” she told the publication.
Fatherhood has been 'really beautiful' for Chris.
In 2021, Chris spoke to E! News about his fatherhood journey and his desire to have more children.
At the time, he joked that he would have “as many [kids] as the man upstairs will provide,” adding that he’d “probably have to talk to Katherine about that.”
It looks like he got his wish!
