Chrissy Teigen Shuts Down Comments That Her Paris Olympics Outfit ‘Looks Like a Diaper’

By now everyone should know that Chrissy Teigen is always going to hit back at the haters with class and sass! The 38-year-old model was recently criticized by many for her 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony outfit choice. The mother of four appeared in Paris with husband John Legend and their two oldest children, Luna Simone and Miles Theodore. For the event, Chrissy wore an olive green Chloé set, which included a knit cardigan and matching micro shorts. But some people weren't too fond of the outfit.

Trolls compared her outfit to a diaper.

"Opening ceremonies! sure it was a little (a lot) rainy but wowowowowow absolutely epic experience (and got to see a few of my favorite people!)," Chrissy captioned the carousel of images.

Meanwhile, naysayers flooded her comment section. "Who wears panties to the Olympics??" one person asked. "Is this one of Estis diapers," someone else commented.

Chrissy offered a subtle response.

As more negative comments poured in, Chrissy didn't seem too fazed. She did respond, however, to someone who said that she wore "the worst outfit for that kind of event." In a subtle reply, she wrote, "Thanks for sharing!"

Other people jumped to the model's defense.

Despite the load of trolling comments, other fans jumped in to defend Chrissy.

"She wasn’t competing in the Olympics lol why can’t she wear whatever she wants? " someone asked.

"Everyone is upset because they wouldn’t feel confident wearing this. She is," another person shared. "It’s Paris. It’s fashion. Like it or don’t…you’re not wearing it!"

Stars also expressed their support.

Fellow celebrities also supported Chrissy's outfit choice. "This LOOOOOOK >>>," wrote Elaine Welteroth. "My god this fit ❤️ ✨," Busy Philipps commented.

And others pointed out her shoe choice as well. "Walking on cobble stones in those shoes should be a sport. ," Jenn Sterger wrote.

Chrissy seemed to enjoy herself regardless.

Despite the negativity, Chrissy seemed to have a good time at the opening ceremony. The model shared photos alongside Snoop Dogg, Ina Garten, Elizabeth Banks, Captain Sandy Yawn, and Hoda Kotb in her post.
