Sometimes toddlers become obsessed with things that seem pretty strange or random to their parents. Recently, Chrissy Teigen opened up about her daughter Esti’s latest obsession. Esti, who is about to celebrate her second birthday, has taken an interest in actor John Cena for some unknown reason. Although Esti’s obsession is a bit unexpected, fans couldn’t get over how adorable it was.

Chrissy said Esti's interest in John Cena started a few months ago.
Chrissy shared several videos of Esti playing with John Cena action figures on Instagram on Sunday, December 22. The cookbook author and mom of four admitted that she didn’t know how her toddler’s obsession with the wrestler and actor began.
“A few months ago, Esti mysteriously became obsessed with John Cena,” Chrissy captioned the Instagram post.
Because of Esti's latest interest, Chrissy bought her some more John Cena action figures.
Chrissy has clearly been supportive of Esti’s latest obsession. “I got her more John Cena’s,” she wrote. But now that Esti has several John Cena toys, she won’t go anywhere without one. At this point, “she can’t do anything without a John Cena.”

Chrissy's daughter knows that the action figures look like John Cena.
The first video Chrissy shared shows Esti wearing pink pajamas and holding a new John Cena action figure that was still in its package. In the video, Esti asked her mom to open the packaging of the new action figure.
“What is it?” Chrissy asked her toddler. “It’s John Cena,” Esti proclaimed. In the second video, Esti had two John Cena action figures. “Who is this?” Chrissy asked her daughter, pointing at one of the action figures. Esti told her mom it was John Cena. Pointing at the second action figure, Chrissy asked Esti, “Who’s this?” “That’s John Cena,” Esti answered with confidence.

Chrissy shared three additional videos of Esti playing with her John Cena action figures.
Then, in the third video, Esti used a John Cena toy to pet her dog. Later, the final video showed Esti typing on a toy laptop. However, her John Cena action figure did all of the typing. How kind of him to pick up the slack!
Fans thought the toddler's obsession was super cute.
Reacting to the adorable videos, some fans tagged John Cena. Other fans suggested that Esti and John Cena have to meet, but others wondered how Esti would react to seeing the star in real life.
“Imagine her seeing him in real life,” one person commented on the post. “It’ll be hit or miss. Like kids meeting their favorite characters at Disney.”
Although the toddler’s obsession seems unusual, a lot of fans thought it was hilarious.
“I could watch Esti,John Cena content all day …” one fan wrote.
Another person added, “That’s so funny how they become obsessed with certain things even clothes.”
It seems Esti isn’t the only kid with a John Cena obsession, either. One fan wrote, “My son was obsessed with him when he was little. Our cat’s name is John Cena because of it.”
