A recent preview for The Flip Off showed Tarek El Moussa and Christina Haack talking about her split from her third husband Josh Hall. In the preview, Christina admitted that her kids encouraged her to leave Josh. Tarek, who was married to Christina from 2009 to 2018, didn’t share what he thought about Josh, but appeared to empathize with Christina. Now, in response to a new promotional video for the HGTV show, Tarek is finally admitting how he really feels.

In a promotional video for 'The Flip Off,' Tarek and his current wife talked about whether they would be open to making a second season.
Tarek’s current wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, said, “If we don’t win, we’ll for sure want to redeem ourselves.” However, Tarek insisted that there’s no way they won’t win. On the show, Tarek and Heather are competing against Christina. Originally, the couple planned on competing against Christina and Josh. After Christina and Josh filed for divorce, though, the trio decided to move forward without Christina’s ex.
In the video, Heather said she enjoyed working with Tarek and Christina. “I feel like it was fun,” she said. “It brought us all together in a different way.”
Christina commented on the video.
Christina said she would only do the show again if she could have Heather as her partner. “Only if @theheatherraeelmoussa is my partner next time,” she wrote, joking “Tarek you can have Josh.”
Responding to Christina’s comment, Tarek took a jab at Josh. “Even with Josh slowing me down, I can still beat the girls,” he wrote.

In a recent clip, Christina opened up about her split.
A recent preview clip for The Flip Off showed Tarek walking into Christina’s home. He could tell that something was wrong with her, and she admitted that she and Josh had officially split up.
“We had a blow up … middle fingers in my face,” she told Tarek. “Things with Josh have been bad for a long time.” Christina also revealed that her kids noticed that Josh wasn’t kind to their mom, adding, “They told me he’s not nice to me. Why would I stick around?”
They also addressed their former relationship.
Later in the clip, Christina began crying as she spoke about the year that she and Tarek went their separate ways. “Everything since like 2016 has been so hard and so horrible,” she told Tarek. “It’s really taken a really bad toll on me.”
“I’m really sorry for s—, too. I really am. I just want you to know,” Christina added, seemingly referring to things that happened when they were together. Tarek responded, “I understand that feeling of being a little bit lost. And I acknowledge that I’m a big part, if not the entire part, of all of this.”
In another promotional video, Christina stood next to another man.
Since her most recent split, Christina has sparked romance rumors on several occasions. Most recently, her posts about her Christina on the Coast contractor, Michael Lange, have raised a few eyebrows. At the beginning of December, Michael seemingly helped Christina decorate for the holidays. “There are still good men left … one of them right here single handedly hoisted this 11 foot tree into my home,” Christina wrote via her Instagram Stories.
In a promotional video shared on December 14, Christina stood beside Michael, leading some to wonder if he might be her new partner on the show. It won’t be long ’til we find out!
